THURSDAY 11TH FEBRUARY Due to the adverse weather conditions overnight we are unable to ensure the safety of our students on the school site and so the decision has been made to close the school today. Please check back for further updates.

Langton's Got Talent run by Tori Johnson in aid of her marathon run. 19:00 on the 8th of February. £3.50 for a ticket.

Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys will be closed on Friday January 8th. We have managed to keep open for business longer than most schools, but are now concerned that we no longer have the salt resources left to combat future forecast ice and snow.

(18/12/09) The school is OPEN today (Friday 18th December). However the school is mindful of the advice given by Kent Police to avoid unnecessary travel due to road conditions in part of the county. The school will, therefore, be happy to support any decision made by parents not to send their child to school today and their absence will be marked as authorised.

Check the langton school website tomorrow morning for any notices on school closure. It will appear no later than 6 apparently
