It’s not often that the DfE produce something that is welcomed so that in itself is worth celebrating!

📚 Back to school is just around the corner and we all know that the new school year can bring excitement, but it can also bring worries.

This helpful guide shares seven simple ways to make the transition smoother, from rebuilding routines and encouraging independence to talking about worries and keeping goodbyes calm.

Take a look through the guide and choose one or two ideas that could help your family feel ready for September.

You’ve got this. They’ve got this. Let’s make it a great year! 🌟

This week, the Year 5 and 6 children from the Bat and Trap Club faced the staff team in the 4th Annual Bridge Bat and Trap Game.

The children had a score to settle, having lost two of the previous three games over the years. After honing their skills over many weeks, they emerged victorious, beating the staff team 20 points to 14!

Well done, children!

The staff team are already looking forward to next year’s game!

Our talented writers have been hard at work! ✍️
Vinelysia and Akira have created fantastic persuasive leaflets all about life at Bridge School. Their writing was thoughtful, engaging and full of brilliant ideas about what makes our school such a special place to learn. Well done to both of them for their excellent effort and creativity! 🌟

What a fantastic afternoon at our Colour Run today! 🌈
There were smiles, laughter and plenty of colour from start to finish. Thank you to all of our parents and families who came along after school to support the event and make it such a success. We loved seeing everyone having so much fun together! Thank you for providing the paint.
