When children reach year 5 they often look and sound very grown up! But behind the scenes they are still developing! It isn't a fully formed brain awaiting knowledge inside those heads! It still needs to grow and develop!

Get ready for a Partial Lunar Eclipse across next Thursday/Friday night, with the action happening in the early hours of 28 August. The best bit? You don't need special equipment to see the 'Blood Moon'!
There will be a noticeable shadow on the left edge of the Moon from around 3.30 (at night/in the morning depending if you stay up or get up!) as it begins to be eclipsed by the shadow of the Earth.
It will reach maximum partial lunar eclipse from around 05:12 Friday morning, depending on which part of the UK you are in. With over 90% of the Moon in Earth's shadow, the Moon will take on a reddish hue giving it the characteristic blood moon look!
The Moon will then move back out of the Earth's shadow and slowly set in the West!
Canterbury currently looks like there could be cloud, so check the forecast for visibility before you set your alarm clock!
Oh, and a quick quiz! Does anybody know what the National Space Centre has used Leicester as a place to pinpoint a time for the lunar eclipse?
(Yes, WE do!)
