It’s been a wonderful privilege to celebrate the many festivals of India this year through our Bollywood Classes. Sharing the different festivals across many religions not only has been fun but enlightening too.

Today is Ganesh Chaturthi the birthday of Ganesh. Ganesh is a respected Hindu God who is known for wisdom. The many associated stories and iconography of Ganesh help Hindus to reflect on spiritual philosophy to overcome obstacles and problems faced in daily life.

This year Classic Class have been focussing on Ganesha. We are looking forward to sharing our full dance at our annual charitable Celebration on 21st November in the mean time here are some snippets of our Ganesha steps . Thank you to Classic Class always a pleasure to dance with you ❤️🐘🙏🤲

So excited to attend and dance at the League of Friends Kent & Canterbury Hospital Summer Festival & Fair today. So many fun things to do while raising funds for our local hospitals. Do come and see us and join the Bollywood Festival dancing - it’s going to be so much fun 🤩

What better way to kick start the school summer holidays and it’s going to be a fun day out for the whole family!

The festival and fair will be officially opened by the Lord Mayor at 12 noon.

It’s set to be a fabulously sunny afternoon with music, dancing, food & drink - including food from the LOFKCH café with homemade cakes and refreshments, a BBQ, Whitstable Whippy and so much more.

We have a fabulous line up of activities and stalls that will be joining us and we simply can’t wait!

We will have Bric a brac, jewellery, plants, preserves, bottle tombola, puzzles, homemade goods, books, children’s tombola, lucky dip and more!

There will also be a fun photo booth, a kids area, and a grand prize draw.

We will be joined by George’s & Friends, the Therapy ponies and the Bollywood Blast Dancers for workshops.

Such a pleasure to be part of the Hythe Sports & Fitness Festival. Thank you to all the organisers and volunteers for making it a huge success.
