📖 Explorers 🐠

The Explorers have been really enjoying going walks recently! They have visited the library to read stories and join in with music time. The Explorers also enjoyed walking around the hospital looking for flowers and the fish stickers on the wall; they also loved looking at the diggers they found on the way!

🌸 Babies 🌸

This week babies wanderlust topic has been water. They had lots of fun melting and breaking the ice with various tools to free the flowers.

Preschool have been learning about the beach for wanderlust. They have enjoyed making their own beach role play including an ice cream van, making a beach collage, listening to the sea in the seashells and a treasure hunt in the beach tuff tray.

Last week Adventurers had fun building bridges for their animals. They are very interested in making models recently. The children loved this activity and spent lots of time working together to make the bridges. A great activity for promoting communication, turn taking, logical thinking and developing fine motor skills.

Explorers have really enjoyed using the soft play pieces to build tunnels and towers! This activity is great for developing gross motor skills, turn taking and physical development.

Last week the babies really enjoyed exploring the mirror tuff tray. They were fascinated by their own reflections and their friends and teachers!

The Adventurers have been really enjoying doing obstacle courses in the garden. They are getting really good at listening to and following visual instructions, weaving in and out of the cones and jumping into the hoops on the floor.
