Our student Global Officers are running a Global Hangout Boat Tour on Sunday 14 May designed specially for University of Kent international students! πΆβ΅βπ£ββοΈ
Don't miss out on the fun! Experience Canterbury's unique history from the perspective of the Great Stour river that runs through the city centre. The boat tour will be fully guided and run for 45 minutes, providing fascinating insights into the history of the city.
Choose from morning or afternoon departures. Tours will leave from The Old Weaver's Restaurant on the High Street and cost Β£10 per person.

Today is World Heritage Day 2023, an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of cultural heritage and the need to preserve it for the future ποΈπ°βͺοΈ

Some photos from the launch of the "Art Against War" exhibition, showcasing art by students and graduates from Ukraine's Kherson State University (KSU) π¨π
The exhibition of paintings and photographs explores lived experiences of the ongoing war in Ukraine. It was launched at University of Kent on 30 March and will be on display in the Templeman Library Cafe Space until 13 April.

Did you know that Canterbury ranks 9th in a list of safe university towns in England and Wales?
The Complete University Guide list, published on 28 March 2023, is aimed at helping students decide where to study.
Rankings are based on three-year rolling average crime rates in UK towns and cities per population of 1000 from gov.uk.

The exhibition of student art based on lived experience of the war in Ukraine is called 'Art Against War'. It will be displayed in the Templeman Library until 13 April.
Come along on Thursday to hear from Rector Oleksandr Spivakovsky and Vice-Rector for International, Social-Humanitarian and Scientific-Pedagogical Work Tsapiv Alla Oleksiivna, who will be presenting on their book 'Chronicles of a Relocated Institution'.
Free and open to all University of Kent students and staff.
