This year's Canterbury Gaming Convention is about to start in our Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena.

Over the space of two days, you can try and test new games, take part in tournaments and grow your gaming collection.

It's our largest conference and events venue at the University of Kent, with the ability to accommodate up to 4,000 people for an event.

With over 3,000 sq meters of flexible flat floor space, the venue can be set up for a variety of events, from conferences and concerts to sporting events and trade exhibitions.

Just like that the first lot of this year's graduations have come to a close. And what a special week last week was!

One of the best weeks of the academic year is here.

This week we get to see University of Kent students graduate at the iconic Canterbury Cathedral alongside their class mates, lecturers, friends and family. It's a special thing to witness students celebrating their hard work and finishing their degree.

A few of our team will be helping out during the evening ceremonies and have worked with our internal catering team to provide refreshments for the staff volunteers throughout the week.

We're looking forward to welcoming the Canterbury Gaming Convention back to our campus next month.

On the 14, 15 and 16 August, the event will be turning our Kent Indoor Tennis and Events Arena into the ultimate gaming space for all types of gamers. With arts and crafts, retro and board games, tournaments and traders, the event has it all.
