We’re looking for a Student Activities Administrator (Sports) to join the Kent Union student staff team! 🏈⚽️💃🥏

If you’re already part of a club or society, this is the ultimate way to level up your CV, gain real-world office experience, and make a real impact on campus life.

What you’ll be doing:

⚽️ Managing fixtures, matchday transport, and group memberships
🎉 Getting hands-on with major campus events like Varsity and the Student Activities Awards

The merger of Kent Students’ Union and Greenwich Students’ Union has now been successfully completed. This is the start of one of the most ambitious projects in the student movement, bringing together two established students’ unions to create a stronger organisation that will deliver an even better experience for students across both universities.

For students, it’s business as usual. Whether you’re studying at Kent or Greenwich, you’ll continue to access the advice, representation, student groups, events and opportunities that make student life rewarding as normal. You’ll still be supported by dedicated teams on your campus, with a continued focus on delivering an outstanding student experience where you study.

Although both unions are now united as LASE SU, each union will keep its individual name, brand and identity for the current time. This means that Greenwich students will still access their union services from Greenwich Students’ Union and Kent students will still access their union services from Kent Students’ Union.

As we continue to bring our organisations together, one thing won’t change: students will always be at the centre of everything we do, and elected student leaders and student trustees will help to ensure your priorities remain at the heart of our new organisation.

We are pleased to announce that, following approval by both trustee boards, Greenwich Students’ Union (GSU) will merge into Kent Students’ Union (KSU) from 1st August 2026.

By coming together as one organisation, we will be better placed to strengthen our services, create new opportunities for students, and increase the impact we can make across both universities. During the coming academic year, students can continue to expect the same advice, activities, student group, and campus services while we work together to build our future organisation.
