Kent Youth Summit 2022 was a fantastic success.
Over 700 students from secondary schools across Kent took part in the Youth Summit. Students and teachers joined the interactive workshops led by academics in the morning followed by a lively lunchtime of barbeque, candy floss, pop corn and live music with and .
The made an appearance on Tuesday lunchtime for a little lesson on Salsa dancing.
Each day, the students reflected on an idea to contribute to our "100 ideas for better World" manifesto which will be handed to our councillors and MPs.

Exciting news!
Kent Youth Summit coming to the University of Kent.
Monday 27 June - Friday 1 July
In partnership with Kent County Council's Reconnect Program, the University will welcome over 200 students aged 13 to 18 years old from across Kent.
From maths challenges to sports activities and from creative writing to designing what a human will look like in 30 years!
Each day will kick off with workshops followed by a barbeque before ending the day with an interactive headline plenary session.
This first Youth Summit will give students a platform to reconnect with each other and will be a vibrant and engaging learning opportunity for schools across the county.
