We're a student-run organisation at the University of Kent bringing back the age of swing through regular classes and social dances in lindy hop and swing!
We teach classes in swingin' dance styles straight from the 20's, 30's and 40's and host regular social dances where you can hone your dancing skills! Beginners classes: Wednesdays 7 pm in Rutherford JCR, £Free (members) / £3 (non-members)
Improvers classes: Sundays 6.30 pm in Rutherford JCR £3 (members) / 5 non-members)
Membership: £20 (students) / £25 (non-student) for the year

All you need to do is pop your email into this google form and we’ll send you an email with the zoom link to all our lessons!!

UKC Swing Dance
✨ Welcome to UKC's Swing Dance Society! ✨
We would like to invite you to our two taster sessions this week.
- Tuesday (29/09) - Introduction to Solo Jazz
and
- Thursday (01/10) - Introduction to partner Swing Dance
A zoom link will be sent out before the lessons, and will be open from 18:50 for the class to start at 19:00.
We will also be hosting an informal chat afterwards, and maybe some games depending on how everybody feels. You're welcome to stay for as long or little as you like.
After these taster sessions, a membership available from Kent Union will be required to access more classes.
