With Summerfest taking place tomorrow, please make sure you arrive prepared for the weather. There is limited shade so please bring water, sun cream and hats.
There will be a water station where you can refill any bottles throughout the event.

For the reminder of this week students can wear Orion Spires PE kit or house top. No branded sports wear or hoodies etc.
Students who would prefer to wear uniform may do so without a tie and a blazer.
We will return to normal uniform on Monday. Please don't forget school bag and equipment, sun hats, drinks and sun cream.

From tomorrow students will not be required to bring blazers.
They can have short sleeve shirts with the tie.
Please ensure students bring water in a non-glass container.
Please put sun cream on first thing and bring a hat for break and lunch.
We will be providing additional water stations and factor 50 sensitive sun cream. If your child has allergies and needs special sun cream please ensure this is applied at home in the morning.
We are meeting on Monday to review the response for the rest of the week so please look out for messages.

Dear Spires staff, Families and students. Yesterday we celebrated Culture Day at Spires and we had an amazing day. Summer arrived and students embraced the day with the sense of belonging that we have at this wonderful school. I am of course incredibly sad to leave Spires but have been overwhelmed with appreciation and love from you all and am so thankful for all the messages, gifts and flowers you have generously given me, I am still opening and reading cards and gifts and feel like a spoilt child at Christmas so am staggering the opening of cards and presents to really appreciate the wonderful words of gratitude and love written to me.

I am so proud of what we achieved together and know that Spires is in safe hands. Spires has been the highlight of my career and I will never forget you all. Have a wonderful break and a take care of yourselves.

As I say to the staff before every break, remember to do the things that bring you joy with the people you love. Anna.
