🌟 Year 6 Residential 🌟

We are delighted to let you know that our Year 6 pupils have arrived safely at PGL and are settling in well for what promises to be an exciting and memorable few days.

Residential trips provide a fantastic opportunity for children to develop their independence, build confidence, make lasting memories with friends, and challenge themselves through a range of new experiences and activities. We know they are looking forward to all the adventures ahead!

We hope all our Year 6 pupils have an amazing time and enjoy every moment of this special experience! 😊

🎵 Music is a huge part of life at our school! 🎵

From Choir performances at the University of Kent and the annual Young Voices choir in London to Rocksteady bands and instrument tuition, our pupils enjoy a wide range of musical opportunities throughout their school journey.

Our EYFS children took part in an exciting introduction to an orchestra. They listened carefully to a piece of music and showed fantastic listening skills as they identified the different instruments they could hear. 🎻🎺🥁

It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and curiosity as they explored the world of orchestral music. We look forward to nurturing their love of music as they continue their learning journey! 🎶✨

Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic time at the East Kent Science Jamboree this week!

The pupils enjoyed a variety of exciting hands-on STEM activities, supported by Pfizer, and loved exploring science through fun and interactive challenges. 🚀🔬🧪

🌿 Forest School is a huge part of life at our school, from regular outdoor learning sessions to our popular after-school club.

Our pupils love the opportunities to explore, learn new skills, work together and connect with nature. Here's what they had to say:

🎶 We are beyond proud of the five members of our school choir who joined the Cecilian Choir and Consort at Colyer-Fergusson Hall, University of Kent, on Friday evening!

What an incredible opportunity and a fantastic achievement. The pupils performed Everyday Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo, showcasing their talent, dedication, and hard work alongside experienced singers and musicians.

We are immensely proud of how they represented our school and congratulate them on being part of such a memorable performance. A special thanks to Borden Church of England Primary School👏🎶✨
