St Stephen's Infant School Canterbury We are a vibrant three form Infant School in the cathedral city of Canterbury, sharing a site with St. Stephen's Junior School and Squirrels Pre-School. St.

“TOGETHER WE SHINE”

We believe that each child is a unique individual and that the first years of school are the most important as they lay the foundations for learning. Our motto "Together We Shine" was created by the children, and we teach children to abide by our school values which were created in partnership with staff and parents/carers. Children learn to work and play together creating positive relationships with each other. Through assemblies, class circle times and daily discussion, the concepts of our values permeate through every day school life creating a sense of well-being and resilience. Children are well prepared for the next stage of their learning journey, both academically and emotionally. Stephen's Infant is a school with a family feel, which allows children to develop in a caring environment.

Butterfly, Dragonfly & Ladybird Class had a super balance bike session with Team Rubicon! Balance bike sessions offer key physical, cognitive and developmental benefits for young children and helps a smoother transition to pedal bikes. The children are already looking forward to their second session in November.
