I'm looking for a reliable electrician who may have some availability during the six-week summer holidays.

We're hoping to have a few electrical jobs carried out at our nursery while the children are away, so if anyone is available, or can recommend someone trustworthy, I'd really appreciate it.

What an incredible day!

Today we had the absolute pleasure of spending the day celebrating our wonderful leavers alongside their amazing families. It has been a day filled with laughter, smiles, happy memories and, of course, a few tears too. ❤️

To all of our families, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing Woodpeckers Nursery and trusting us to be part of your children's early years. It has truly been an honour to watch each and every one of them grow into the kind, confident, funny and caring little people they are today.

Today was a very special day at Woodpeckers. 💙

We were so happy to welcome beautiful baby Kolby, who came to visit us with his wonderful Mummy and Daddy, Hannah Gibbs and Karl.

It was lovely to see Hannah again, and the children were so excited to meet Kolby. There were lots of smiles, gentle cuddles, and happy faces all around.

A huge thank you to Hannah and Karl for sharing this special moment with us. From all the staff and children at Woodpeckers, we send lots of love and can't wait to watch Kolby grow x

Woodpeckers Nursery is growing, and we are excited to welcome two passionate Early Years Practitioners to join our nurturing, child-centred team.

If you genuinely love working with young children, believe in learning through play, and want to be part of a setting that values and supports you, we would love to hear from you.

At Woodpeckers, we don’t just provide childcare. We create meaningful childhood experiences. Every day is built around curiosity, warmth, laughter and developmentally rich play in a setting where children feel safe, confident and truly known.

We are currently recruiting for:

👶 Baby Room Practitioner

(Baby room experience preferred)
Supporting our youngest children with nurture, secure attachments, routines and early developmental play.

Supporting children through imaginative learning experiences, early communication, social development and school readiness.

What We’re Looking For

We are a seeking practitioner who:

✨ Have a genuine passion for early years education
✨ Enjoy planning creative, engaging and purposeful activities
✨ Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families
✨ Are confident working within the EYFS framework
✨ Bring energy, kindness and professionalism to their role
✨ Value teamwork and a positive working culture

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards) preferred.
