🌙🚀 Year 5 Science in Action! 🚀🌙

Our fantastic Year 5 pupils have been exploring gravity and the effect it has on unsupported objects 🌍⬇️

Using a model of the 🌙 moon’s surface, the class investigated how objects fall and what happens when there is less gravity than we experience on Earth. 🧪✨

We are so proud of how engaged and curious everyone has been – future scientists in the making! 🔬🌟

✨ Reception Starters – Getting to Know You Session ✨
Little Seaside Town is hosting a special “Getting to Know You” play session for children starting Reception in September.
📅 Tuesday 7th July
⏰ 3.30–5.30pm
📍 Little Seaside Town, Ramsgate
A relaxed, play‑based session to meet other Reception starters and help support the transition to school.
🎟 Tickets (must be booked in advance):
Adults £2 | Children £8 | Babies £2
Siblings welcome – please book everyone attending.

Although this is not a school‑run event, the school will be able to offer a limited amount of minibus transport for families who would like to attend but do not have their own transport.(1 adult + 1 child per family).
Please contact the school office to reserve a seat on the bus– tickets must still be booked separately with Little Seaside Town.

What an amazing day for our students on their Royal Society science trip to Simon Langton Girls’ School.

They carried out insect sweeps with expert support from Cambridge zoologists, identifying all sorts of fascinating mini‑beasts. The adventure continued with pond dipping, where they found everything from newts to dragonfly nymphs.

A huge well done to everyone for their curiosity and enthusiasm.
