🎉 Our biggest ever Careers Fair was a huge success!

With 43 exhibitors, 62 industry professionals and outstanding student engagement, the event provided invaluable insight into a wide range of education, training and career opportunities. Even better, 100% of surveyed students said they found the event useful.

🐧🦭 Our Year 8 students had a fantastic time on their annual trip to the Nausicaá Sea Life Centre in France in June!

From exploring incredible marine exhibits to practising their French during a visit to Cité Europe, it was a day full of learning and fun.

Once Upon a Mattress - Opening Night is Here!

Well today is the day! After 6 months of rehearsals, line learning, prop making and set design the opening night of the show is today! Break a leg to all our hardworking cast and crew!

Our Year 5 Taster Morning was a huge success, with pupils enjoying a wide range of exciting activities and getting a real taste of life at Barton Court Grammar School.

From Science and Drama to Computing, Languages and PE, there was plenty of fun, learning and laughter throughout the day.

🌿 BCAT Eco Challenge 2026

Students from Barton Court Grammar School, Barton Manor School and The Charles Dickens School recently came together for the annual BCAT Eco Challenge, enjoying a day of hands-on environmental learning, pond investigations and biodiversity studies.

The event also celebrated all three schools once again achieving the prestigious Green Flag Award, alongside Barton Court Grammar School’s Bronze Wilder Kent Award recognition for its outstanding environmental work.

🎨 Celebrating Success at the Canterbury Art Prize!

We are delighted to announce that three of our talented Art students were winners in this year’s Canterbury Art Prize, which challenged young artists to respond to the theme ‘Conceal/Reveal.’

With more than 100 entries from 15 local schools, this is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the creativity, skill and dedication of our students.

🏆 Kent Schools Champion!

A huge congratulations to Jacob who continues to perform at an outstanding level!

Jacob was recently crowned Kent Schools Champion in the 100m hurdles, producing a fantastic personal best of 13.28 seconds. This incredible time now sees him ranked 2nd in the UK for his age group.

His hard work, dedication and determination are paying off, and we are excited to see what the future holds for this rising star.
