Diggersim had a fantastic time at The Charles Dickens School’s Exhibition Fair on Wednesday, hosted with Education Business Partnership Kent. We’re incredibly proud to work alongside local educators, helping students gain valuable insight into the world of construction and plant machinery, and hopefully inspiring the next generation of excavator operators.

Students also had the opportunity to speak with Will Ovenden, who has been operating diggers since the age of 16 with his family’s business, Ovenden Plant Hire. Hearing real experiences from someone in the industry gave them a great look into what a future in plant operation can look like.

We hope the students took plenty away from the day. Inspiring the next generation has always been at the heart of what Diggersim is all about. 🚜👷‍♂️

A royal visit fit for the digger throne! 👑🚜

We were thrilled to welcome Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Edinburgh, to the Living Land Village at the Kent County Show on Friday. Duchess Sophie stopped by to try her hand at the Diggersim and let’s just say, she’s a natural behind the controls!

What an honour to have her seal of (almost) royal approval! 💫👷‍♀️💛
