🙏✨ KCSP Beginning of Year Mass ✨🙏

A small group of our talented choir and band members, along with some of our Year 7 students, attended the KCSP Beginning of Year Mass at the beautiful Aylesford Priory. 🎶⛪

It was a wonderful opportunity for schools from across the Kent Catholic Schools’ Partnership to come together in faith and celebrate the beginning of a new school year. 💙

A lovely occasion and a special way to start the year together as one Trust community. 🙏✨

✨ ST ANSELM’S FEAST DAY ✨
Today we came together as a whole school community to celebrate one of the highlights of our school calendar – St Anselm’s Feast Day! 🙏💙

Our special Thanksgiving Mass was a wonderful celebration of faith, community and everything that makes St Anselm’s so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable occasion – from those who organised and supported the Mass to our students and staff who shared their many talents. 🌟

It was fantastic to see our whole school united together in faith, celebrating our patron saint and the wonderful community we are so proud to be part of.

⛪ Feast Day Mass at Canterbury Cathedral 🙏

On Thursday 1st October, the school will once again be celebrating Mass in Canterbury Cathedral, marking the Feast Day of St Anselm.

This is a lovely opportunity for the whole school to gather and worship in beautiful surroundings. Normal lessons will resume in the afternoon.

Students will be walking to and from the Cathedral in tutor groups. Every student must make sure that they are in full uniform, correctly worn.

Please make sure that your child has a waterproof coat and a nutritious breakfast before school, so that they are prepared for the walk and the service.

It promises to be a wonderful day. ✨

⚽ FOOTBALL SPORTS UPDATE ⚽

Another busy week of football for our St Anselm’s teams, with plenty of goals, strong performances and some fantastic debuts! 💚👏

⚽ Year 7 Football
A brilliant start for our Year 7 boys in their first ever game, securing a 5–3 win against Archbishop’s School! The whole team showed plenty of talent and lots of potential for the season ahead. 🌟

⚽ Year 8 Football
The unbeaten run may have come to an end with a 5–3 defeat to The Whitstable School, but there were still plenty of highlights. Reggie scored an incredible long-range thunderbolt 🚀 and Leo picked up MVP. 👏

⚽ Year 9 Football
Santi and Finn were on the scoresheet in a 4–2 defeat to The Abbey School. Alex produced several excellent saves to keep the team in the game, while Filip earned MVP after an impressive debut at left back. 🧤👏

⚽ Year 10 Football
What a result! 🔥 The boys secured an emphatic 8–2 away win against St Edmund’s, Canterbury. Several players impressed on their school debuts, with Alfie proving a constant threat in attack.

Well done to all our players for representing St Anselm’s! 💚⚽
