β˜€οΈπŸŽ‰ Summer School 2026 – What a fantastic three days! πŸŽ‰β˜€οΈ

Our new Year 7 students have enjoyed three fun-packed days, making new friends, building confidence and getting to know St Anselm’s ready for September. πŸ’šπŸŒŸ We even finished with a surprise ice cream treat today! 🍦

It has been lovely to see our students coming out of their shells and enjoying themselves. We are so proud of them all! πŸ‘

A huge thank you to all the staff involved for making Summer School 2026 such a success. πŸ’šπŸ™Œ

πŸ’¬ Here’s what some of our students had to say…

⭐ Ruby: β€œSummer School was a great experience for learning the school site and meeting some of the teachers I might have in the future. I made new friends and really loved the trampolining and scavenger hunt!”

⭐ Arianna: β€œSummer School was fun and helpful. I know my way around school now and made new friends. We did lots of amazing activities which gave us a great taste of secondary school!”

A huge congratulations to William, our former Head Boy, who has graduated from the University of Kent with a First-Class Honours Degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering! πŸŽ“πŸ‘

His degree included a placement year with BAE Systems, and he will now spend the summer gaining further valuable work experience before beginning his MSc by Research in Engineering this September.

There was even more reason to celebrate, as William was also awarded the WΓΌrth Elektronik Project Prize for his dissertation! πŸ†
