Czech and Slovak Society bude mít zítra stánek na Fresher’s Fairu od 11 do 4! Doražte!🇨🇿🇸🇰

Staff of the Embassy of the Czech Republic would cordially like to invite you to a Czechoslovak Film Week that will take place in the Czech Embassy Cinema on 19th – 24th February 2018. All films will be screened free of charge.
As for the Czech production, three viewer-friendly films were selected to represent the typical features of Czech cinematography. All of them also happen to be literary adaptations of Czech books – Capricious Summer, Lemonade Joe and Fimfárum, The Third Time Lucky (screening for children followed by a film-themed workshop for children).

Spectators of the Slovak films are going to be taken into the 2000s, viewing a historical movie fresco, as well as a suggestive story, set in the rugged scenery of Slovak mountains – Soul at peace, Power of Good and Escape to Budín.

Dear friends of the C&S Society and the newcomers of 2017/18 academic year.

We would like to welcome you all once again to our page and a platform for UKC Czech and Slovak students.
We will be functioning on a more online basis (kent emails and this page) this year as our committee is limited. We will try to bring to you at least one social or a get-together a term and we will be getting back to you with the dates and times soon. So stay tuned!

Pripomíname najväčší event pre česko-slovenských študentov v nadchádzajúcich mesiacoch, už túto nedeľu!

Účasť potvrdili prominentní speakri ako Iveta Radičová, Tomáš Sedláček, Peter Irikovský či Martin Dubéci. Navyše sa vyskytla možnosť zúčastniť sa aj na jednom z dvoch výborných workshopov, organizovanými Teach for Slovakia a Exponeou. Lístky sa dajú zakúpiť len za 12 libier, deadline je už vo štvrtok!

My sme si už vybavili voľno z práce a kúpili lístky do Londýna! Budeme radi ak sa k nám pridáte! :)
