Researchers at Durham University are looking for participants from Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School aged 12 - 18 years for a new online study.
The aim of the study is to ask young people about their thoughts on different options for support when experiencing emotional difficulties like anxiety or anger. Participants do not need to have mental health issues to participate.
The study will involve watching two videos connected to support for emotional wellbeing in young people. Participants will then complete questionnaires. Two weeks after Part 1 of the study, participants will be asked to complete Part 2. At the end of both Part 1 and Part 2, participants will have the opportunity to enter into a raffle for a chance to win a £10 Amazon voucher. There will be 10 winners chosen.
Taking part in this research will benefit students currently studying A- Level Psychology or those students considering studying the subject next year, as it will provide a fantastic insight into real-world psychological research.
If you are interested in participating or have any questions please contact Mrs Homerston or the research team: Dr Laura Clark ([email protected]), Lauren Kupferschmind ([email protected]), Caroline Welsh ([email protected])
