Two traditional alpine chalets sitting side by side with hot tub, indoor pool and sauna. Plus a lovely big space for our reformer and yoga practise 😁.

My Alpine Reformer Retreats in June 2027 are now open for booking and to help you make an informed decision, here are some answers to some common questions that have come my way.

I’ve planned two unique, back-to-back retreats for you in June 2027.

These three-night retreats in the beautiful French Alps are designed for everyone, whether you’re travelling solo, with a friend or with your partner.

Expect daily Reformer Pilates, mountain hikes, yoga, meditation and grounding, incredible French food, w**e if you fancy and plenty of time to switch off, breathe and soak up the views.

Six months ago I was ⚽️⚽️⚽️ deep in plans to lease a high street premises and transform it into the studio of my dreams.
I was leaving my garden studio and village halls behind and putting everything — and every penny — under one roof. Close to the station, surrounded by cafés and the Claygate community, with space for Mat and Reformer.
It was perfect. It was meant to be.
Except apparently it wasn’t.

Just before the builders were enlisted, it all went pear-shaped. A better offer came in and my studio dreams went 💨

I was pretty miffed.
Everyone said:
“There’ll be something else around the corner.”
“When one door closes…”
“The universe has other plans.”
B*llocks, I thought. It was PERFECT. Nothing like that will come up again. It’s not fair!
I stamped my foot and stuck out my lower lip.

Two weeks later, my lovely friend and fellow Pilates instructor Charlene Pilateso told me about Hannah, a client of hers running Reformer retreats in the French Alps. Maybe we should connect?

Still slightly mopey about my “devastating loss”, I pinged Hannah a message.
And this is where it all changed.
We met in the café just next door to the shop I should have been up to my eyeballs renovating, and boy did we connect, in that way women sometimes just do 👯‍♀️.

Three months later, Al and I flew to Geneva to recce the area, meet her lovely husband Glen and experience Alpine living for myself.
I was hooked. More importantly, I knew I wanted to share it with my clients — and you lovely lot.

So Ive let go of renovations, rents and rates and swapped it for chalets, mountains and lakes.

On Monday, I launch Pilates with Zoe’s Alpine Reformer Retreats.⛰️
I’m running FOUR next year in June and September.

Yep. I’ve gone ⚽️⚽️⚽️ deep again 😜

Turns out letting go made space for something far better. I just needed to stop pouting and look up.
