🎉 GCSE Results Day 2026 🎉

Today we celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results.

We are immensely proud of all our students for their hard work, commitment and resilience throughout their studies.

A special congratulations goes to Isla Jackson, our highest achieving student, who achieved an outstanding eight Grade 9s. This is a phenomenal accomplishment and a testament to Isla's exceptional effort and determination.

As our students prepare for their next chapter, we wish every one of them the very best in their future plans, whether that be further study, training, apprenticeships or employment. We know they will go on to achieve great things.

We are also delighted to be welcoming back so many of our students who have chosen to continue their journey with us at Cardinal Griffin Sixth Form this September. We look forward to supporting them as they take the next steps towards their future ambitions. Cardinal Griffin Catholic College Celebrates Student Success and Strong Vocational Outcomes

Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is celebrating the achievements of its Sixth Form students following the publication of this year's Level 3 examination results.

The Class of 2026 demonstrated resilience, determination and commitment throughout their studies, achieving an overall average grade of 'C' across more than 100 Level 3 entries.

Students secured a wide range of university, apprenticeship and employment destinations, reflecting the strength of the college's inclusive post-16 provision.

Headteacher Paul Johnson said:
"We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have achieved. These results reflect their hard work, perseverance and commitment over the past two years. We are particularly pleased with the excellent outcomes in our vocational courses, where students have once again demonstrated their ability to excel and progress beyond expectations. Today is a celebration of our young people and the exciting destinations they will now move on to. We congratulate them all and wish them every success in the future."

As students embark on the next stage of their education, training and careers, the college is proud of the progress they have made and the contributions they have made to the life of the Sixth Form community.

❤️🎶 What an incredible atmosphere at Griffin Fest! 🎶❤️

From the fantastic live performance by our very own Mr Smith and the ever-popular silent disco to the inflatables and hundreds of voices singing along to Wonderful, the energy throughout the day has been amazing.

Seeing our Griffin Family singing, laughing and making memories together is exactly what Griffin Fest is all about.

❤️🎉 The fun didn't stop there...

There was plenty happening around the yard at Griffin Fest, with students taking on the basketball hoop challenge, testing their aim with Hit the Wicket, getting their own back at Soak the Teacher, and enjoying the fantastic sounds of the steel drums.

It was brilliant to see so many students getting involved, having fun and making memories with friends and staff throughout the day. 💙
