🛡️ Safeguarding concerns aren’t something any of us ever want to deal with… but being prepared is so important! ❤️

And it’s something Ofsted will expect us to take seriously!

Thankfully, we’ve never had a safeguarding concern that needed recording.

BUT… if that day ever comes, I won’t be scrambling around looking for paper, wondering what to write, or where to keep it.

I’ll simply reach for this. 📘

Our Safeguarding & Child Protection Record Book gives you a dedicated place to record concerns professionally and securely. It includes:

✅ 15 concern record forms

✅ Helpful guidance

✅ Important safeguarding contact numbers

✅ Based on the latest KCSIE guidance

Because safeguarding isn’t just about knowing what to do when something happens… it’s about being ready before it does. 💙

I showed them this! 🙌 Who uses these already??

We’ve been using these ever since Development Matters was released back in 2021, and honestly… they’ve been working a treat! ⭐

They’re not a tick-box exercise. ❌☑️

They’re not pages and pages of overwhelming paperwork. 😅

Instead, there are small spaces for meaningful notes, so I’m not spending hours writing observations. I simply dip into these a couple of times a month, jot down what I’ve noticed, and that’s enough to build a really clear picture of each child’s progress. ✍️❤️

The built-in Observation Checkpoints give me confidence that little ones are developing as expected… and if they’re not, I’m much more likely to spot it early and put the right support in place. 🌱💛

Simple. Practical. Manageable. Just how assessment should be. 👏
