Big kids back at school… now what are we doing with the little ones? 😂💕

If the house suddenly feels a little quieter this week, come and spend a few hours with us at Kids Rule!

There’s loads for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to explore — sensory play, role play, soft play and plenty more. 🌈

And of course… there’s coffee for the grown-ups too! ☕️

Good luck to all of our little Kids Rule visitors heading back to school or nursery tomorrow — and an extra big good luck to those starting for the very first time! 🥹❤️

We know this week can bring ALL the emotions… excitement, nerves, pride, worry (and that's just the grown-ups! 😂).

Whether they're running through the doors without looking back or needing that extra cuddle in the morning, we hope they have the loveliest first day. 🌈

And to all the mums, dads and grown-ups doing the drop-offs… you've got this too! ❤️

👑 𝗪𝗘’𝗥𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗘…

After what has been a VERY busy summer, Kids Rule is getting a little reset! ❤️

We’ll be 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟳𝗧𝗛 – 𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭𝟭𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 while we get stuck into all those jobs that are almost impossible to do when we’re open.

Think 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝘆𝘀 and refreshing some of our play areas using what we’ve already got.

We’re definitely 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 😂 — there’s only so much we can squeeze into five days (and only so much budget! 🙈), but we’ve got lots of ideas and we’re excited to give the place a bit of love.

We’ll be sharing some of the chaos behind the scenes too… and hopefully a few little before & afters along the way. 👀

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL & NEW BEGINNINGS WEEK! ✏️❤️

The summer holidays might be coming to an end, but there’s still plenty happening at Kids Rule!

Next week is all about Back to School & New Beginnings — whether your little one is starting nursery, heading off to school, moving up a year or just coming along for a play. 🥰

Here’s what’s happening:

❤️ Monday – CLOSED for the Bank Holiday
💙 Tuesday – SEN Session | 9:00–11:30am
🎨 Wednesday – General Play | 9:30am–2:30pm
Plus crafts available throughout the day!

🧳 Thursday – General Play | 9:30am–2:30pm
🌍 Travelling Suitcase at 11am
🎲 Adult Games Night | 6–9pm

🧁 Friday – General Play | 9:30am–2:30pm
Plus a little Back-to-School Little Chef fun around lunchtime!

⭐ Saturday – General Play | 9am–4:30pm
A whole day to play, explore and enjoy Kids Rule!

💙 Sunday – SEN Session | 9:15–11:45am
Followed by our Exclusive Parties for the rest of the day.

🌦️ Outdoor play will be available weather permitting.

We’ve had some really busy sessions recently and have occasionally reached capacity, so although walk-ins are always welcome where we have space, booking ahead is definitely recommended.

And if you book but then can’t make it, just drop us a message. We can’t offer refunds, but we’re happy to rearrange your session — and it means we can offer your space to another family. ❤️

And there’ll be a little extra Dinosaur Search fun included throughout the day! 🔎🦕

💙 SUNDAY
9:15–11:45am | SEN Session
⚠️ This session is already nearly full, so please make sure you book if you’re planning to join us. We carefully manage numbers for our SEN sessions and don’t want anyone making the journey and being disappointed.

We’ve actually been really busy over the last few days and have unfortunately had to turn families away when we’ve reached capacity, so booking ahead is definitely recommended this weekend.

If online booking is showing an issue, feel free to message us and we can check availability for you.

And a little reminder — if you have booked but can no longer make your session, please let us know. We’re happy to move your booking to another day, and it means we can release your space for another family. We’re unable to offer refunds for missed/cancelled sessions, but we’ll always do our best to rearrange your visit.

We spend so much of our time creating things for little ones, but we know how easy it is as adults — and especially as parents — to put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

So we thought it was about time we changed that.

✨ 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗚… 𝗔𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗢! ✨

A new range of adults-only events at Kids Rule, giving you an excuse to get out, meet people, try something different and, most importantly, have a little time that's just for YOU.

And we're kicking things off with our brand-new…

You'll create your piece during your first evening, we'll kiln fire it, then you'll return for your second evening to paint it. We'll fire it once more before it's ready to take home and treasure.

🧳🦖 THE TRAVELLING SUITCASE IS OFF ON ANOTHER ADVENTURE!

This Thursday, our suitcase has travelled back in time to… DINOSAUR VALLEY! 🌿🦕

Join us at 10:30am as we gather around the suitcase, follow the luggage-label clues and discover where it has been!

Our little explorers will:

🤟 Learn the Makaton sign for dinosaur
🌿 Explore, smell, feel and taste food fit for a herbivore
📖 Enjoy an interactive dinosaur story
