World Book Day 📚
We didnt do the typical get dressed up this year, instead we took our stories with us and brought them to life over the week whilst visiting the Zoo and Hednesford Park ❤️
The children have thoroughly enjoyed our outings, recalling the stories with enthusiasm and indulged in our activities, even looking back through the story to choose the correct colours for their pictures 😍
Theyve had wonderful fun playing with their friends, looking at all the different animals, climbing, sliding, spinning and playing in the sand 🪣
What a beautiful week, its been fantastic having the warmer weather 🌞

Spring is finally on it's way 😍🙌🌼🌸

What a beautiful day we've had exploring the first signs of spring, feeding the ducks, bird watching and having a blast with friends climbing and running down hills in the sunshine 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🌞🥰

A snippet of what January and February has looked like at the setting 😍
The children have explored all weather's, taken interest in the Seasons and enjoyed lots of activities in preparation for school readiness.
The activities planned are around the children's interests, promote independence and confidence, strengthen their gross and fine motor skills, enhance their learning and creative minds and cover all areas of the EYFS.
We learn through play, fun, perseverance and confidence and thats something we promote through everything we do here ❤️

More photos of the last few months October- December ❤️
We've had a wonderful time getting in the Christmas Spirit!
The children and I were very proud to be part of the Community project with M&M's Childminding where the children made cards and christmas pudding pom poms and delivered them to the elderly personally ❤️ Its such a magical day when we do this for all involved ✨️
We've enjoyed visiting Lichfield Cathedral where the children each placed their token in the box of their favourite tree/wreath 🎄
The children got to meet Santa at the playgroup christmas party 🎅
We visited Planters garden centre to see Santa's reindeer 🦌
The children also had a Christmas dinner and pyjama party at the setting 💃🎉 and took part in lots of crafts, activities and fun along the way!!

The Setting will now reopen in January ready for another fun and action packed year!!

Wishing all my current, past and future families a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year! ❤️
