As the summer holidays come to an end, we've been looking back on what a brilliant few weeks it's been for all the children who joined us at our Time2Move Holiday Programme and Kids All Day clubs.

We've packed so much into the summer – from sports and swimming sessions to learning from the Coastguard, first aid activities, beach lifesaving and plenty of games and laughs!

A big focus this year was helping children learn more about healthy eating and basic first aid. It has been amazing to see how engaged they've been! We hope they've picked up a few skills and lessons that they'll take with them long after the summer has finished.

Thank you to all the children and our fantastic team for making it such a memorable summer. We can't wait to do it all again next year! ☀️💙

🌊 Coastal Safety Week at Time2Move! 🌊

This week’s Time2Move Holiday Programme has a special focus on coastal safety! 🏖️

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Holly & Toby, two former CLC teammates, who are Maritime and Coastguard Agency volunteers, to deliver a fantastic and engaging session for the children.

The children had the opportunity to explore and use some of the day-to-day equipment Coastguard volunteers use, while also learning some vital lifesaving tips, including how to float in an emergency in the pool. 🛟🏊‍♂️

A huge thank you to our Coastguard volunteers for giving their time and helping our young people learn some potentially life-saving skills! 👏

Another fantastic week of fun and activities at our Time2Move Holiday Programme 🌟

Our staff and children have had an amazing time together, and we think the smiles in these photos say it all! 😊

Our friends at Wadebridge Sports and Leisure Centre still have a few spaces available on the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course they're running next week.

If you've ever considered a career in the leisure industry, becoming a qualified lifeguard is often the perfect first step. It's a fantastic qualification that can open the door to a rewarding and varied role.

We still have some spaces left on our lifeguard course next week 10th to 14th August. This is a great way to get into working in the leisure industry. With pools crying out for lifeguards all over the country. If you are off to uni in September and have got a pool lifeguard qualification then you have a great opportunity to have a part time job while you study. Course cost is only £280 and could be your ticket to earn while you learn.

We have kicked off the Summer Holidays with a very successful first day of the Time2Move Holiday Programme! It has been jam-packed with sports & games, a healthy lunch, followed by an educational talk on healthy eating, ending with coached lessons in the pool! Bring on the rest of the Summer!👏🥳
