Today we celebrate Playday β a day to recognise the importance of play in every childβs life. β½
Play is so much more than just fun β it helps children learn, explore, build confidence, develop friendships and make sense of the world around them.
At Act4Africa, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and experience the joy of childhood. Through Kathyβs Kindergarten, children in Mayuge, Uganda have access to a safe and nurturing environment where they can play, learn and build the foundations for a brighter future.
By supporting Act4Africa, you can help provide children with access to quality education, opportunities and chances to play.
This Playday, letβs celebrate the power of play and help create more opportunities for children to grow. π

πThis International Friendship Day, we're sharing the story of the bond between Elijah and Kian β two friends at Kathy's Kindergarten.
They share everything and are always looking out for one another. Whether Elijah is helping Kian tuck in his shirt or proudly introducing him as his "brother", the pair are rarely apart.
Their story is a wonderful reminder that Kathy's Kindergarten is more than a place of learning β it's a place where children feel loved, valued and build friendships that can last a lifetime. π€
Thanks to people like you, Kathy's can continue to provide a nurturing environment where friendships like Elijah and Kian's can flourish.
