In Uganda, nearly half of all children never complete primary school.
Behind that statistic are children with dreams, potential, and futures waiting to be shaped.
At Act4Africa, we're committed to changing that—helping ensure more children have access to the education, support, and opportunities they deserve.
This June, we're launching something special—and we'd love for you to be part of it.
Coming soon: Every Child Counts💛
A new way to support Kathy's Kindergarten and help give every child the chance to learn, grow and thrive.

Each week, we share a glimpse into our work and the communities we’re proud to work alongside in Uganda.
We use football to bring communities together and spark meaningful conversations about important topics like teenage pregnancy, early marriage, and girls’ health. In this photo from Kityerera, our team is all smiles as they receive a new ball ahead of the game! ⚽

“I knew I didn’t just want to run for myself. If I was going to push my body to its absolute limits, I wanted that effort to stand for something beautiful. That is why I am incredibly proud to dedicate my very first full marathon to Act4Africa.”
Meet Prateem. This November, he’s taking on the incredible challenge of taking on 26.2 miles and running his first marathon — all in support of Act4Africa. 💛
While Prateem conquers every mile, his commitment will help empower women and children in Uganda, providing vital support, education, and opportunities to help them build brighter, more independent futures.

Last week marked Volunteers' Week – a time to celebrate the incredible contributions volunteers make to charities like Act4Africa. 🙌
To mark the occasion, we spoke with one of Act4Africa's dedicated volunteers and President of the Act4Africa Society at the University of Reading, Fasih.
Inspired by his personal connection to Uganda and driven by a passion for creating positive change, Fasih has helped build a thriving student community, organise fundraising events, raise awareness across campus, and generate vital support for women and children in Uganda.
