This week in the baby room we have been using our senses to make some bread in a bag. Some of our mummy's and daddy's came in to help. The bread was really yummy

Good afternoon,

There has been a small problem with the Wi-Fi today, it is completely down. The girls are doing what they can to update diaries etc but there may be a delay in getting information onto them, we will try and sort this asap. Same goes for emails, if you have emailed the nursery today I will get back to you as soon as up and running. If it’s important please call the nursery. Thanks Jordyn.

Today in the cubhouse we let our butterfly's go🦋💜 over the past few weeks the children have loved watching the caterpillars form into these beautiful butterfly's. We have all been do fascinated and will miss our little friends😁🐛🦋

Pizza partyyy!! Today in the cubhouse the children made some delicious pizzas!🍕🍕😋 All the children had so much fun taking part in this activity and trying the pizzas after lunch 😁👍👌

The children in Cubhouse are so excited about our new visitor's... we have caterpillars!! 🐛🐛 We can't wait to watch them grow into beautiful butterfly's and learn all about their life cycle ☺️🐛🦋

Today in the cubhouse the boys and girls made some yummy flapjacks😋 The children worked together to measure out the ingredients and mix it all together. We had so much fun during this activity 😁👌

The children in Cubhouse have had a super fun week taking part in lots of different activities to celebrate Easter. Here is some of the things we got up too...

A huge thank you to George S Munn Funeral Directors & everyone who donated these Easter eggs. We will have very happy children this Easter! So wonderful & kind of Fraser to gift us so many eggs 🐣🐰🍫💝 THANK YOU 🥳

📚🌍 WORLD BOOK DAY 🌎📚

Today the children came in dressed up & brought their favourite book to nursery to celebrate World book day with our friends! We were so excited to show everyone our lovely costumes (staff too!) & read all of our fab books 😃 thank you all for taking part x

This morning in the cubhouse the boys and girls were put into 2 groups and asked to work as a team to build a high tower. The children showed great imagination and creativity throughout this activity and worked very well together in their teams. Well done boys and girls! Great team work💪👍😊

🤞💕 RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS DAY 🤞💕

Big Room spent all morning creating lovely cards for our walk handing them out to the local community to remind everyone that it's cool to be kind 😊 we even received some kindness back by getting a free cupcake 😋 yummmmy !

Today in the Cubhouse the boys and girls wanted to help make snack. The children showed great independence skills during snack time and were all able to prepare their own snacks with no adult support. 🥖🍏🍌😀

This week in the Cubhouse we have been learning about Burns Night and why we celebrate this day. The children took part in lots of different activities throughout the week to celebrate and learn about Robert Burns🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 "We stay in Scotland!" This week in cubhouse the children have been making Christmas lists and letters for Santa!🎅 The children have had so much fun practicing their writing skills and drawing pictures on their letters. Today we went a walk up the main street to see the christmas decorations and post our letters in the post box.✉️ We are so excited for santa coming❤️🎄🎅

Today we had our Christmas lunch! 🎅🎄❤️ The children took part with helping the ladies set out the tables and enjoyed their yummy turkey, sausages, potatoes and veg! For dessert we had some delicious ice-cream 🍦🍗🎅😀

The past two days big room have been in the Christmas spirit!! We have put up our Christmas tree, utilised our arts and crafts skills to make Christmas window displays as well as sing and dance to lots of Christmas songs. ☃️🎄🎅

This morning our cheeky elf made a big mess of our room and put the tissues all over the floor !! We are looking forward to tomorrow morning to see what he does next 😂🙈🥰

Good afternoon, we are looking for a Santa for our Christmas Parties on the 16th December. If anyone is free for an hour or so in the afternoon it would be very much appreciated 😄🎄

Today in Cubhouse we have been celebrating St Andrew's Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙 This morning we made some yummy shortbread biscuits. The children were able to work together in a team and used amazing sharing and turn taking skills during this experience. We all had so much fun😁🎉

This morning the cubhouse used team building while exploring the loose parts in the garden. They worked together to construct a den. Using resources found in the garden. They helped one another lift guttering from one end of the garden to the other, they rolled tyres, shipped planks and tied robes with no support from staff. They called on each other for help which was fantastic team building skills. This started off with 2 children and ended with 8 children. What a fabulous Friday morning 😊 well done cubhouse 🎉

We've had another fun morning in cubhouse participating in more halloween experiences🎃🦇👻in the playroom the children have been explroing the tinker table with the pumpkins and also the goop where they've been making witches potions! in the garden the children have been exploring the halloween sensory activity inside the trough😁❤️

Today Big Room have been using their creative skills to make lanterns using glitter and card!. They also were learning about Hindu patterns where they used a mixture of Weetabix and water to draw and print henna tattoos on themselves and staff.

This morning in cubhouse the children have had great fun making "pumpkin soup". The children have had the opportunity to carve a pumpkin and also peel and chop up vegetables 🎃🥕🍲🥔

This week the babies explored their different senses, using bubble wrap around their feet to make marks on the paper with paint, spaghetti play , sensory gloves and gloop! We had lots of fun using different materials to develop our senses and explore our curiosity, whilst also developing our problem solving and creativity.

(As well as getting very messy :)!) 🎨🌈🥰

This morning cubhouse have been using the tyres around our garden for climbing on. The children worked together as a team to help stack up all of the tyres so that they could climb on them. They also added wooden pallets which they used to walk up and down on demonstrating great balancing😁☀️
