Over the last 2 school years, a number of children whose parents formed part of the Parent Council and the PTA have now left our school. Ordinarily we would reach potential new members of both committees at various school events. However, for obvious reasons this still isn’t possible.
The PTA is the fundraising arm of Trinity High School whilst the Parent Council works in partnership with the school and serves to represent the views of parents on numerous factors relating to the education and welfare of our pupils.
If you are interested in joining our PTA or Parent Council we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with the school who will be able to provide any further information you require.
On behalf of the PTA I’d like to wish a healthy & happy Christmas to all of our families & staff. Obviously fundraising for the school has been put on hold temporarily as we all adjust to the current situation & identify alternative methods of raising funds outwith the usual events but we hope to be able to pick up again in the new year. Merry Christmas 🎄🎅🎁
Please see below - the Cathkin, Stonelaw and Trinity Parent Partnership are welcoming any donations of school blazers as we approach the new term. If you have a blazer that you would like to donate, or would like some help please get in touch with the CST Parent Partnership page.
Hi. Due to the current Coronavirus situation. This event has been postponed.
Hi all. Please see below for the launch of a new Parent Forum created by parents from Cathkin, Stonelaw and Trinity High Schools, taking place in Rutherglen Town Hall on 18th March. This looks to be a great event with the aim of getting local parents together to discuss common areas of interest, amongst other things.

What a great night!!!! It was fantastic to see so many of you turn up and support our school on our biggest fundraising night of the year....the perfect way to kick off the festive period. Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️
One more sleep till the Christmas fayre!!! We hope you're all looking forward to it as much as we are. Lots of great vendors this year as well as the ever popular school sponsored stalls from home economics, tech department etc.
We will see you all from 7-9 when we find out who is going to be the winner of the AirPods!!!
Only 3 days to go!!!! All of our hampers have now been made up and will find a new home on Thursday 🤗. We can’t wait to see you all there! There’s also still time for any S1 & S2 kids who havent yet returned their raffle tickets to the school.
Happy Friday!!!
In the lead up to the Christmas Fayre we are sending raffle tickets home with the S1 and S2 pupils so that you will have the opportunity to enter the raffle even if you can’t make it on the night. This is the first time we have done this, hence the reason we are trialing it with the S1 and S2s. Each envelope will have 5 strips and it is up to you how many, if any, strips you wish to purchase and return to the school (£1 per strip). Please make sure you put your name on the back of the strip of tickets.
Some envelopes were put in bags today and the remainder will be sent home next week so keep an eye out for them.
Reminder of some of the prizes - AirPods, Clarins Hamper, JaxxYoga vouchers, Glasgow Rocks tickets, M&Ds wristbands, ice skating passes, Flip Out tickets, Triple Js Carpet Cleaning voucher, gym & swimming passes and variety of goody baskets.
We look forward to seeing you on the 28th (7-9pm).
With just over 3 weeks to go, things are starting to come along nicely. We have an amazing top raffle prize this year - a pair of AirPods!!!
We are still on the hunt for some additional raffle prizes so if you have anything you can donate please get in touch or alternatively you can leave it with reception at the school.
Keep an eye out over the next few weeks as we begin to advertise the vendors we will have on the evening.
We hope all of the pupils have enjoyed their October break. Now that it's (almost) over, the PTA are on the countdown to the Christmas Fayre. This year it will be taking place on Thursday 28th November from 7-9. Lots of posts to follow over the coming weeks in the lead up to the event once our stallholders are confirmed.
As ever, we would love any items that you might be able to donate for our raffle - we couldn't do it without you so many thanks in advance!
In addition, do you or your family / friends have any business connections who might be able to contribute to the raffle. We try to have a wide range of prizes that caters to all tastes / interests so any inspiration is more than welcome :)
Monday 23rd September is the first PTA meeting of the school year. We are a small group of parents and teachers focused on raising funds for the school.
We are open to anyone who wishes to join and get involved and would appreciate any extra help.
We only arrange a few events per year, ensuring that it doesn’t take up too much of your time. If you think this is something you might be interested in, the meeting is at 7pm on Monday night in the school conference room.
****WARNING - Christmas post****
Good evening! Yes, it’s only September but we’re already starting to turn our attention to the Xmas Fayre and we’re looking for some feedback. Is there anything that you would like to see on the evening which we haven’t had before? We want to appeal to as many of you as possible so let us know what you think!!! Ho-ho-ho 🎅
Now that our new S1s have settled in to high school life, it would be good to reach out to as many of the new S1 parents as possible to let them know about our PTA page (as well as any S2-S6 parents who don’t know about us).
We would appreciate it if you could give our page a share to spread the word and tag anyone who you think might be interested in PTA events.
Thanks!
Another summer break comes to an end! Good luck to all of our new S1’s starting at Trinity High School tomorrow and welcome back to all of the teachers and pupils! As for the parents....we think we know how you guys will be feeling 😜😂

After a really successful Christmas Fayre, the next school event coming up to get you all in the festive spirit is the Christmas Concert on 13th December. Preparations are well under way and the pupils would love to see you all there. 🎅🎄⛄️
A massive thank you on behalf of the school to everyone who supported our Christmas Fayre...parents, teachers, everyone who donated their time & raffle prizes and finally the Trinity pupils. I personally received feedback from stallholders on how much of a credit to the school the kids are which is lovely to hear. It was great to see so many of the children turn up to lend a hand. Special shout out to our fab choir and an amazing performance from Abby who all helped create a great atmosphere for the evening. We had an amazing turnout and although still waiting for final totals we had a really successful evening, which will be of great benefit to the school. Thank you all!
