The next parent council meeting is on Wednesday 9th September at 1830, we are delighted that Councillor Norman Rae will be joining us for this.

Within the meeting we'd like to share a draft of the new parent council constitution.

The previous constitution was drafted many years ago and required updating in a number of areas including membership and voting.

Once the draft has been approved at the meeting it will be available on the school website alongside all parent council meeting key documents.

*A Parent Council (PC) constitution is a legally required document detailing the rules for running a school parent group. It covers membership, appointment of office bearers (Chair, Treasurer), meeting frequency, financial management, and procedures for an Annual General Meeting (AGM). It ensures the PC acts on behalf of the Parent Forum, follows democratic processes, and aligns with Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006.

And just like that, another school year is done! 🎉

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our school community who have helped make this year so special 🙏🏼

We hope everyone manages to enjoy plenty of fun, laughter, adventures and maybe even a little bit of peace and quiet along the way and of course we hope the ☀️ appears 🤞🏻

A reminder school closes at 1:00pm tomorrow and we’ll say our FINAL GOODBYES to our P7 pupils (hankies at the ready!) before they head off to High School 😭

We’ll be back and ready when school returns on 13th August with our AGM pencilled in for September

Until then, have a fantastic summer, stay safe, make lots of happy memories and thank you again for all your support! ☀️🍦🏖️
