Hi all P7 St Bride's parents. At the moment, due to SLC's covid restrictions, the school is unfortunately unable to organise any external activities or trips for the P7 leavers. A few of us are considering organising our own trip one weekend in June so that the children don't lose out entirely. It will be an outdoor activity somewhere local. We are going to set up a WhatsApp group to plan this. If you would like to be added to that group, please PM your phone number.

Can anyone tell me if school bus will be running when school goes back and how I would find out about getting a place on it??

Does anyone know what’s happening with the P7 prom? Heard through grapevine that they want it on Monday 15th June however personally I think a Monday is not very practical for folk who are working etc and kids have to be up early next day for school. Also think parents will be expected to contribute so would be an idea to try and get something sorted soon to allow us to fundraise etc. Anyone have any thoughts?

Tomorrow (Thursday) our school are off to the Panto in East Kilbride… “oh yes they are”… Pupils will have lunch as normal in school.
School will also provide a snack at the Panto.
Pupils do not need to bring school bags to school.
School will be dismissed at 3:30pm.
The school bus has agreed to leave the school at 3.30pm for any children who normally get bus transport

Some good news from the Parent council......school discos are back! 💃🕺
This will be the first since lockdown and we're working hard to make this happen in December - details to follow soon!
As our funds are low after covid, we are hoping there might be parents/guardians amongst us who may be able to help us with the following;
- We need a DJ, could you or someone you know help out for a few hours on the night?
- Can you or someone you know donate or provide a discount for decorations/balloons for us?
- The kids LOVE the photo booth, can anyone provide this, offer a discounted price or recommend a company that has a great rate?
If you think you can help, please get in touch either in the comments here on in a message, it would help us put on the best disco possible and would be very much appreciated!
