Earlier this week, Magdalene's Development Director, Corinne LLoyd, and Senior Tutor, Professor Stuart Martin were delighted to speak to so many Members and their guests at this year's Hong Kong Drinks!

We are very grateful to Mr Henry Pang (1986) for his generosity in hosting the event.

Those of you who've visited College recently might've noticed that our Chapel has been closed for refurbishment. This undertaking has entailed updating the lighting to create shadow-free, glare-free illumination that works with the building's candlelight, rather than against it.

The design utilises energy efficient, dimmable LEDs, providing a flexible and environmentally conscious alternative to the previous instalment of fluorescents and halogen bulbs.

We look forward to welcoming the Magdalene community back to a brighter building this Michaelmas!
