πΏπ Clare Hall is delighted to have been awarded the University of Cambridge Environmental Sustainability Award for Best Environmental Impact (College Category)!
This recognition reflects our whole-college commitment to sustainability, from governance and operations to biodiversity, resource management, and community-led initiatives.
We are also proud that our Kitchens Team received a Highly Commended award for Best Environmental Improvement, recognising their outstanding work in sustainable dining, reducing food waste, increasing plant-based options, and championing local and rescued produce.

From a historic Cuppers semi-final run for the men's 1st team to a Division 5 title for the 2nd team, Clare Hall and Clare College students played a key role in one of the most successful football seasons in recent years. We are delighted to congratulate Visiting Fellow Professor Anna Marie Roos on being awarded the Founders' Medal by the Society for the History of Natural History (SHNH).
The medal recognises outstanding contributions to the history and bibliography of natural history and places Professor Roos among a distinguished group of past recipients, including Sir David Attenborough and Cambridge historian of science Professor Jim Secord.

Captured from the Paul Mellon Building on 3 June, this striking double rainbow appeared after the rain, arching across the Clare Hall sky. "That sky will be truly missed!" said Professor Garcia-Lekue.

ππ Congratulations to Assistant Professor Xiaogang He of the National University of Singapore, the inaugural recipient of the Global Climate Research Prize, and to the TCCON network, current Chair Professor Debra Wunch of the University of Toronto, named runner-up.
Presented at the Cambridge Union Debating Chamber, the prize recognises research with the potential to deliver meaningful responses to climate challenges. Professor He's award-winning work focuses on managing the interconnected risks of floods and droughts, while the Total Carbon Column Observing Network (TCCON) strengthens global greenhouse gas monitoring.
