We had a magical moment this week which breaks all the rules of being a therapy dog ๐ therapy dogs are not allowed to lick on visits but sometimes they are just what is needed โค๏ธ walking along the corridor at the hospital the other day and a little boy about three was walking towards us hands full of cars ๐ he squealed with delight and ran over on tip toes to Chance and sat in front of him, Chance then sat down too looking into each otherโs eyes. The little boy leaned forward and said โKiss my nose!โ Chance gave one delicate lick on his nose and there were squeals of delight โค๏ธ he then put his cars down and held up his forefinger and said โKiss my finger!โ again Chance gave the gentlest lick, He then he held up the forefinger of his other hand and repeated โKiss my finger!โ Which Chance did again. The little boy held up his bandaged arm and with a sad voice sad โKiss my ouch!โ Very gently Chance placed one more gentle kiss, the little boy leaned forward gave Chance a hug and a kiss on the head picked up his cars and was off running down the corridor calling out โThank you! I love you!โ ๐ฅฐ Moments like these stay with you forever

๐พ We're delighted to welcome Chance the Therapy Dog back to Feel the Force Day! ๐พ
Chance was a huge favourite with visitors, volunteers and guests last year, and we're so excited to have him returning. We can't wait for another Chance cuddle!
Therapy dogs like Chance play an important role at our fully inclusive event. Their calm and friendly nature helps people of all ages feel relaxed, safe and welcome. They can reduce anxiety, provide comfort in busy environments, and offer reassurance to anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed.
Dogs are naturally empathetic and attentive, making them wonderful listeners. Spending time with a therapy dog can help children and adults build confidence, improve self-esteem and encourage communication โ often without even realising they're learning and growing.
Whether you need a quiet moment, a friendly face, or simply want to enjoy a cuddle, Chance will be there with a wagging tail and lots of love.
We know he'll once again make our event even more welcoming, inclusive and unforgettable. โค๏ธ๐ถ
Happiness is visiting my happy place and meeting all the wonderful people that I meet ๐ฅฐ some are old friends and some are new friends but there are always lots of smiles ๐ oh and maybe a few snacks (no bananas were hurt during this visit ๐
We are so proud to be part of the 52 weeks of Acts of Kindness. We are week 16 and have had a difficult few months recently. During this time we have really appreciated our friends and families support ๐ฅฐ I am not used to being with anyone except Mom but recently there have been a few occasions when we had to be apart during the day and a few evenings too ๐ข Beverly has been so kind and spent time helping me settle and keeping me happy so we wanted to do something for her in return โค๏ธ she is settling up a pet care service and we are going to surprise her with a voucher for a Pet First Aid Course which will help her with her new clients. We will put up another post later in the week when we give her her present ๐ one act of kindness deserves another in return ๐ she is an amazing photographer too as you can see

We lost Tigger far to soon to this dreadful disease and we are trying to raise some money towards the research to fight canine cancer ๐พ could you help us and our friend with a small donation towards this wonderful charity? Too many of our dogs are lost every year to this dreadful disease and we need to find a cure ๐
Thatโs a wrap for another half term ๐ I had a wonderful morning in school working with students and also being groomed (may have had a nap!) ๐ค everyone loved my new bandana which is something very dear to me BE KIND after all kindness is free and is priceless ๐
On therapy dog Thursday I have been working with a number of students to help them manage their time in school and college ๐ I love playing the cups game especially with students who donโt always interact or speak ๐พ I tried really hard not to look ๐ but you canโt stop my nose working so after all that time trying to fool me I went straight to it ๐ ๐ , .and.clovers.crew, .thetherapydoodle, , , , , , , .stay.play.allie_mae, , .dog.stryker, , , , , , , , , .the.gsd @
