We had a magical moment this week which breaks all the rules of being a therapy dog ๐Ÿ• therapy dogs are not allowed to lick on visits but sometimes they are just what is needed โค๏ธ walking along the corridor at the hospital the other day and a little boy about three was walking towards us hands full of cars ๐Ÿš™ he squealed with delight and ran over on tip toes to Chance and sat in front of him, Chance then sat down too looking into each otherโ€™s eyes. The little boy leaned forward and said โ€˜Kiss my nose!โ€™ Chance gave one delicate lick on his nose and there were squeals of delight โค๏ธ he then put his cars down and held up his forefinger and said โ€˜Kiss my finger!โ€™ again Chance gave the gentlest lick, He then he held up the forefinger of his other hand and repeated โ€˜Kiss my finger!โ€™ Which Chance did again. The little boy held up his bandaged arm and with a sad voice sad โ€˜Kiss my ouch!โ€™ Very gently Chance placed one more gentle kiss, the little boy leaned forward gave Chance a hug and a kiss on the head picked up his cars and was off running down the corridor calling out โ€˜Thank you! I love you!โ€™ ๐Ÿฅฐ Moments like these stay with you forever

๐Ÿพ We're delighted to welcome Chance the Therapy Dog back to Feel the Force Day! ๐Ÿพ

Chance was a huge favourite with visitors, volunteers and guests last year, and we're so excited to have him returning. We can't wait for another Chance cuddle!

Therapy dogs like Chance play an important role at our fully inclusive event. Their calm and friendly nature helps people of all ages feel relaxed, safe and welcome. They can reduce anxiety, provide comfort in busy environments, and offer reassurance to anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed.
Dogs are naturally empathetic and attentive, making them wonderful listeners. Spending time with a therapy dog can help children and adults build confidence, improve self-esteem and encourage communication โ€“ often without even realising they're learning and growing.

Whether you need a quiet moment, a friendly face, or simply want to enjoy a cuddle, Chance will be there with a wagging tail and lots of love.

We know he'll once again make our event even more welcoming, inclusive and unforgettable. โค๏ธ๐Ÿถ

We are so proud to be part of the 52 weeks of Acts of Kindness. We are week 16 and have had a difficult few months recently. During this time we have really appreciated our friends and families support ๐Ÿฅฐ I am not used to being with anyone except Mom but recently there have been a few occasions when we had to be apart during the day and a few evenings too ๐Ÿ˜ข Beverly has been so kind and spent time helping me settle and keeping me happy so we wanted to do something for her in return โค๏ธ she is settling up a pet care service and we are going to surprise her with a voucher for a Pet First Aid Course which will help her with her new clients. We will put up another post later in the week when we give her her present ๐ŸŽ one act of kindness deserves another in return ๐Ÿ• she is an amazing photographer too as you can see
