🧙‍♀️✨ Potion-making fun at Little Explorers! ✨🧙‍♀️

Today we got stuck into our magical potion tuff tray! 🧪💚 The little explorers had lots of fun filling their cauldrons with potion stones and searching underneath to find their special potion cards. 🔮✨

💃🎶 For movement time, everyone got to choose their favourite song and we danced along to some of our current favourites!

We also enjoyed plenty of free play, followed by story time with “Mrs Black Cat” 🐈‍⬛📖

Then, of course, there was a little more free play to finish off our day! 💚

Another lovely day of exploring, playing, dancing and learning together! 🍂✨

💚✨ A little change to our tuff tray fun! ✨💚

Our little explorers NEVER pass up a tuff tray… and honestly, we wouldn’t change that! 😍🙌

We have been mindful recently of just how much material can end up being thrown around during our play, with some of it unfortunately becoming unusable. So, we’re trying out smaller trays instead! 🌿

✨ Same creativity
✨ Same exploring
✨ Same messy fun
✨ Just a little less waste! ♻️💚

We also had lots of fun with Danny Go! for our movement time, getting our bodies moving and burning off some energy. 🕺🎶

And during free play, we’ve noticed Peppa Pig is making a bit of a comeback here at Little Explorers!

It’s always lovely seeing old favourites make their way back into our play! 💚

🍎🥕 A lovely day at Little Explorers! 💚

We started our day with some free play, and it was lovely to see that some of our little explorers’ interests are starting to change and develop. 🥰 It’s so nice watching their little personalities and preferences grow!

🌈🍓 We then explored our fruit and vegetable colour-matching basket. We talked about the different fruits and vegetables we could see, including their colours, shapes, textures and even what they might taste like! 🍌🥦🍅

After all that exploring, we decided we could open our very own Little Explorers Farmers’ Market! 🧺🥕🍎 The children loved getting involved in some fruit and vegetable role play, taking on different roles and using their imaginations.

💃 We finished with some movement time before enjoying a little more free play to end our day.

🍂✨ What a week! ✨🍂

This week has absolutely flown by! 💚

🌰 Conker counting
We’ve been counting our conkers, practising our numbers and putting them into size order. 🔢
A huge thank you to our bigger explorers for collecting them for us! 🥰🌰

🧘‍♀️ Autumn yoga
We stretched, moved and had lots of fun with our autumn-themed yoga! 🍁

🎶 Danny Go!
Of course, we couldn’t have a week at Little Explorers without some Danny Go fun! 😂💃🕺

🎨 Getting creative
We made our own beautiful seasonal trees and talked about all the colours and changes we can see around us. 🍂🌳

📚🎵 Story & song time
Lots of stories, singing and joining in together. 💕

💚 Child-led Friday!
Today was all about letting our little explorers take the lead! 🥰 They got to choose what activities they wanted to do and even picked the story we enjoyed together at story time. 📚✨

We love seeing what they’re interested in and following their ideas — sometimes they have the best plans! 💚😂

🌿✨ Another lovely day at Little Explorers! ✨🌿

Today’s story was Little Acorns 🌰🍂 — we really do enjoy our books! 📚💚

Our little explorers had so much fun during our dance session today 💃🕺🎶 There were lots of smiles, moves and plenty of energy!

We also enjoyed some free play, giving everyone the chance to choose what they wanted to explore and play with. 🧸🧩

Our older explorers were so lovely helping our littlest explorers find toys they liked and getting involved with their play. 🥰💚

Another day full of exploring, learning, playing and growing! 🌱✨

💚 A lovely day with our Little Explorers! 💚

We had such a lovely day together, filled with plenty of smiles, play and fun! 🥰

We are especially proud of all our explorers for being so gentle, caring and kind towards our smallest explorers, who have settled in so beautifully. 🥹💚

It’s so lovely watching friendships grow and seeing our bigger explorers showing such wonderful kindness and care. 🌟

Our little explorers really do look after each other, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💚

🐉✨ Another busy day at Little Explorers! ✨🐉

We started our day with our soft play blocks, exploring all the different colours and shapes we could see. We had lots of fun pulling funny faces and making silly expressions in the mirrors too! 😜🪞

Of course, no soft play adventure would be complete without building our own different shapes and obstacles to climb over, crawl through and explore. 🧱🤸‍♀️

Our absolute favourite was pretending we were dragons flying through the sky! 🐉☁️ There were lots of roars, giggles and very excited little explorers!

We also got creative with putty, making lots of different things and enjoying the wonderful sensory feel of it between our fingers. 👐💚

And somehow, we even managed to fit in some free play, yoga and story time! 🧘‍♀️📚

So many opportunities to explore, learn, move, imagine and grow — just the way we like it! 💚

A lovely day at Little Explorers 💚

We’ve had such a lovely day with all our little explorers! 🥰

We’ve been busy settling in our two new littlest explorers, and everyone already absolutely adores them. 💕 It’s so lovely watching them begin to feel comfortable, make new friendships and become part of our Little Explorers family. 🥰

We also want to say how super proud we are of all our explorers who have started school! 🎒📚 They have taken it all in their stride and are doing absolutely amazing. We couldn’t be prouder! 💚

And let’s not forget our explorers who will be starting preschool soon! 🥹 We just know they are going to be fantastic and will take this next big adventure in their stride too. 🌟

🌿 On a personal note… 🌿

We would like to say a massive thank you to all our wonderful explorers and families for being so supportive, understanding and patient while we unexpectedly had to close for a few days.

Your kindness and understanding really meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful to have such amazing families as part of our Little Explorers family. 💚

Another fun-filled day at Little Explorers! 💚

We started the morning with our shop role play, where our little explorers did a fantastic job taking turns being both the shopkeeper and the customers. It was wonderful to see their confidence, imagination and sharing skills shine. 🛒✨

Next, we headed out into the garden to colour our keyrings, followed by plenty of free play in the sunshine. 🎨🌿

Back inside, we had lots of laughs playing Bluey Jenga, enjoyed an energetic Danny Go! session, and finished the day with more free play and exploring together. 💙🎶

Another day full of learning through play, creativity and lots of smiles! 💚

Today we transformed our soft play mats into an exciting obstacle course! Our little explorers did an amazing job taking turns, cheering each other on, and supporting their friends as they completed each challenge. It was wonderful to see their confidence and teamwork grow. 🌟

This morning we also enjoyed some imaginative shop role play, where everyone loved buying and selling all sorts of goodies. 🛒

Of course, we couldn’t miss out on our favourite Just Dance videos to get us moving and having lots of fun! 💃🕺

To finish, we had a relaxing colouring session, giving everyone a chance to unwind and get creative. 🎨

A lovely day full of learning through play, laughter, and making happy memories. 💚
