Little Explorers Childminding

Forky came to visit Little Explorers today! 🍴✨

Our little explorers had so much fun creating their very own Forky. It was lovely to see their excitement as they watched him come to life and proudly showed off their creations.

We also enjoyed our daily movement time, dancing away to all of our favourite songs chosen by the children themselves. 🎶💃🕺

Afterwards, we settled down for some story time before enjoying plenty of free play. Peppa Pig and Duplo are still proving to be firm favourites with our little explorers! 🐷🧱

A day full of creativity, imagination, movement, and fun! ❤️

We managed to enjoy some outdoor play this morning before the rain decided to make an appearance! ☔️🌦️
Not to worry though – our little explorers were more than happy to head back inside where the fun continued. From imaginative play to exploring their favourite toys and activities, there were plenty of smiles and laughter all around. 🥰
Rain or shine, there’s always an adventure waiting! 🌈✨

Our littlest explorers started their day with Duplo while our friends got ready for school. 🧱✨
We then enjoyed one of our favourite stories, The Rainbow Fish 🐠🌈, followed by some themed tray play while we talked about the story and its meaning, exploring kindness, sharing, and friendship.
Of course, we made time for our daily movement and song session – always a highlight of the day! 🎶💃
This afternoon was extra special as we celebrated one of our little explorers’ birthdays after they returned from school. 🎂🥳 We all enjoyed some birthday cake and helped make their day one to remember.

We started our day with some relaxing sensory play, exploring a variety of calming toys and textures. 💚

Next up was movement time, where our little explorers enjoyed getting active, building confidence, and having lots of fun along the way! 🌟

We then enjoyed some free play, and it was lovely to see what naturally caught each child’s attention. Watching their curiosity, imagination, and interests shine through is always one of the best parts of the day. ✨

We really put our wagon through its paces today! 🚶‍♀️🌿🌼

Our Little Explorers enjoyed a lovely walk searching for birds, spotting different types of flowers, and even seeing a couple of squirrels along the way! 🐦🐿️

We also stopped for a run around our favourite area filled with beautiful trees and flowers, giving everyone plenty of space to explore, move, and enjoy the fresh air.

There’s always something new to discover when we head outdoors! 💚

Duplo, Duplo, and more Duplo! 🧱✨

It’s always lovely bringing out resources that haven’t been used for a little while and seeing where our Little Explorers’ imaginations take them. From towers and houses to all sorts of wonderful creations, there was no limit to their creativity today! 💭🌟

Building with Duplo helps develop fine motor skills, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, all while having lots of fun. We can’t wait to see what they create next! 😊

Our littlest explorers started their day by taking our school friends to school and waving them off for the day. 👋🏫

With the rain keeping us indoors, we made the most of it with colouring, free play, dancing, and plenty of singing! 🎨🖍️🎶💃

Before we knew it, it was time to head back out and collect our school friends, ready to share all about our day together. ❤️

Rainy days may change our plans, but they never stop the fun and learning! ☔✨

🎉🎂 Birthday celebrations today for one of our Little Explorers! 🎂🎉

We had everything ready for a special day – dancing, singing, glow sticks, balloons, and of course, cake! 🥳✨

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and happy memories made as we celebrated together. Wishing our birthday explorer a wonderful year ahead! 💚

Hot sunny start to our half term club ☀️🌿

We made the most of the cooler part of the day out in the garden with our den building kit, creating little shady hideaways before it got too hot 🌞

We’ve had lots of shade, water and sun safe play throughout the day before heading back inside for magtile building, singing, dancing and plenty of fun 🎶🧱💃

Once it cooled down a little, we were ready for another little adventure back outside 🌳✨

Another “just having a look” trip to turned into the best little activity find 😂
I mean… who doesn’t love bubbles?!

We loved chasing them, popping them and watching them float away in the sunshine ☀️
Such a simple activity but so much fun and lots of giggles from our little explorers 💚
