Cambridge is buzzing with ideas this summer!

Alongside our Quantum Physics and Technology programme, students on the Python Programming Bootcamp are spending two weeks developing practical programming skills through hands-on workshops and project work.

Now in its third year as part of the St Edmund’s Global Programme, the bootcamp continues to give university students the opportunity to explore digital data processing, data science, and game development in a collaborative Cambridge environment.

A special thank you to Kou for once again leading the programme and supporting our students as they develop their own projects!

Following an incredible few weeks with our high school programmes, we’re delighted to welcome the first cohort of our University Programmes at St Edmund’s Global Programme in Quantum Physics Technology and Innovation.

Their Cambridge journey is already well underway. Alongside lectures and discussions at St Edmund’s College, students had the opportunity to visit the Cavendish Laboratory, one of the world’s most renowned centres for physics research.

Seeing where groundbreaking research takes place and how ideas explored in the classroom are applied in practice offers a perspective that simply can’t be gained from lectures alone.

This combination of academic learning, access to world-leading research, and life in Cambridge is what makes the experience so unique.

To our programme leader James we cannot thank you enough for providing this enriching 2 weeks. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the programme has in store.

Time flies.

It feels like only yesterday we were welcoming our first students to Homerton College. Now, we’ve celebrated another graduation, said goodbye to one incredible cohort, and are already welcoming new students to Cambridge.

Every programme is filled with new friendships, inspiring ideas, unforgettable experiences, and memories that stay with you long after the final day.

Thank you for being part of this journey! We’ll miss you all, and we hope to see you again in Cambridge someday.

The perfect way to end the day? 🍕⚽

Pizza, football, and great company after yesterday’s trip to London.

Although the result was not what the England supporters were hoping for, it was fantastic to watch the match together in the College Common Room, surrounded by students from different countries and cultures.

A shared love of football, plenty of friendly rivalry, and a memorable evening together.
