Our Story

Behind our main door you will find a world, rich with natural open ended resources such as natural loose parts & wooden toys. Alongside real life resources sure as pans, tea pots & much more. We have a truly amazing outdoor area which you won’t believe your eyes until you see it for yourself. Parents visit us and come away amazed at what they find behind the door, we are not just a house that has been converted in to a nursery, there is must more to use then the eye can believe.

We have evolved our approach over the years into exciting different approach from others in Cambridge. We have a strong believe that outstanding doesn’t mean perfect! Outstanding is always improving. And we are always improving, looking at how we can make things better for the child and maximising the outcome to their learning.

We have taken the elements from Forest Schooling, Risky Play, Reggie Emilio, Holistic play, Curiosity approach along with the EYFS and created Enquiry based learning approach. Which means that we encourage the children to be independent, to explore and question the world around them.

It is our job as educators to lead your child through playing whilst subtly introducing them to new vocabulary, different ways to explore the world whilst challenging their thoughts.
