The Queer Cultures Research Seminar, run in association with the Faculty of English, University of Cambridge, and funded by the Leverhulme Trust, is a new fortnightly event showcasing queer and subversive scholarly perspectives. Broadly historicist in approach, the seminar is intended to complement the recently established Cambridge Queer Theory Reading Group, providing an interdisciplinary forum

Open Ramble East - Public meeting – Events – Kettle's Yard 24/01/2019

On 22 Feb, artist Ian Giles and Open Ramble East are organising walks with LGBTQI+ people throughout the East of England during 2019 as part of New Geographies. The rambling walks will move from urban centres out in to more rural spaces. They are an opportunity for LGBTQI+ individuals to socialise and collectively claim space. After each walk there will be a social event with food and music. The meeting is designed to be informal and exploratory, its about trying to plan a walking route in and around Cambridge based on an LGBTQI+ framework and logic (be that histories, sites, objects, etc)... come along and find out more at:
