Ayomide will share reflections from the Uganda Cambridge Paediatric Cancer Partnership focused on improving outcomes for children with cancer through strengthened diagnostic and treatment protocols, standardised nursing practices, and enhanced education for parents and caregivers.

Global health funding opportunity – apply by 22 May 2026
The CGHP Grant Scheme offers up to £1,000 to support individuals or teams delivering global health work.
✅ Open to NHS staff across the East of England
✅ Funding for remote or in-person global health activities
✅ Designed to support meaningful, partnership-led projects
Previous grants have supported a range of global health projects from delivering fertility nursing training in Zimbabwe to running ‘ear camps’ in rural Malawi, reaching hundreds of children — demonstrating what small grants can achieve at scale.
