SCHOOL’S OUT SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB 2026 ☀️💜

Sorry for no post yesterday!

Week 3 Day 11 & 12 /
Chatty Chris (Bouncy Castles Squish the Squirrel, Axe throwing, Balloon Modelling), Carnival afternoon, made own purses with our own money (paper money) to spend at the carnival 🎪 lots of chocolate, cookies and sweets were purchased along with our raffle. Hot dogs and face painting/tattoo after.

Circus workshop, amazing bubbles show and skills shown by the children, followed by water play and then slime (for the children who wanted too) we done edible slime, fluffy slime and 5 different colours of stretchy slime! 🫟

Day 5 / Ball Skills and Canvas Painting

The day started with plenty of fun. Premier sports ⚽️ soon arrived ready for lots of ball games. This afternoon we created our beautifully designed and creative canvas, to which we needed some major water fun to finish the day off.

Wow first week is complete. Salt doughs, sand art, Felixstowe trip, disco and angel delight fudge, dancing and playdough, ball skills and canvas, major water play, painting and so much more but most importantly happy smiling laughing children. ✅ I would just like to thank all the wonderful children we have had throughout our first week, they all have been such pleasures. So kind and caring to eachother. We are super proud of them all ♥️

Next week Monday is animal ark (animals coming in to see us) and make our own garden. 🪴

We have decided to try something different next week, instead of film after lunch, we are going to try out doing film before hometime. This way any children going home before 5pm, don’t miss out so much on the activities in the afternoon. We do try make film a priority as we believe it’s really important for all children to have some downtime. Hopefully this way will work slightly better!

Day 4 / Premier Sports Dance and Honey Playdough

The day started slowly playing pool, PlayStation, painting and playing, we then went outside on the field for a run around. Then we did our honey play dough, they did great! 😊
Dance well and truly took place, the children were amazing, they did their own little dance routine in small groups. They played games too! The lovely lady for Premier Sports actually stayed for an extra half an hour as the children were begging her too (then even was an hour late for lunch!!!) 🥗
Then we had a film and water play till hometime!!

Tomorrow is Premier Sports Ball Skills and Canvas painting! 🖼️

Day 3 / Disco 🪩

We started the day off in SO style.. water!!💦 also doing bracelets and some “pretty plates”. So Silly Sean done us an awesome disco with lots of games and prizes won!

Afternoon was full of again.. water! Although some children decided to chill out and watch a film/do some colouring instead.
We do always try accommodate to everyone, and it is so important for all the children to have some down time. Holiday Club is so different to a normal school day they are on the go constantly and so much to think about. Although didn’t look to successful to start with, we did manage to make our strawberry lace angel delight fudge type, and actually it’s quite nice! 👌

The wonderful children who have all been so kind, making new friends, helping each other and just being so wonderful, seeing them so happily playing so many laughs and general chit chat seeing it and hearing it all is so lovely.

Tomorrow is, dance in the morning by premier sports and honey play dough in the afternoon 🍯 ⚽️ 💃

SCHOOL’S OUT SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB 2026 ☀️💜

Day 2 / Beach 🏖️

We started off being on a lovely Alison’s of Lode bus to our journey to Felixstowe, once we travelled all beautifully to the destination we got off and had a snack stop of course, we then headed into the amusements with the children all having £1 to spend (some got lucky and won a prize although we collected all the tickets and made sure all children had a sweet) we then went and had a look at the pier. Then it was delicious delightful ice cream time!! 🍦 and then we had lunch on the beach, with lots of play in the sea and on land. To which we ended with a mini train ride, snack and back on the bus!

All 24 of the children have been great today. It’s a privilege to be trusted by you parents/carers with your bundles of joys!
But mostly I would like to say a massive thank you to all our amazing staff from me, who without these trips wouldn’t be possible! Alyson, Louise, Jenny & Angela & Riley’s Grandad (Vince)!

Tired children (and staff) is a sign of a brilliant day! 🌞

Tomorrow is disco 🪩 in the morning and then sweet treat in the afternoon! It’s going to be hot tomorrow 🥵
