Please join us for our next seminar on Monday, November 25th! Debbie Challis (UCL Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology) will give a paper entitled: "Skull Triangles: Flinders Petrie, Craniometry and Race". Discussion will be started by Kate Nichols of CRASSH's Bible and Antiquity project.
The seminar will take place from 5-7 PM in room SG1 at CRASSH (Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, Cambridge).

The group aims to encourage interdisciplinary discussion about the histories of archaeology and anthropology. Specifically, it seeks to harness the increasing internal discussion about the past of these two related disciplines and couple it with enquiries conducted within the history of science

Helen Roche (University of Cambridge) will speak on "Narrating the Fall of Empires in Weimar and National Socialist Racial Ideology". Joachim Whaley (University of Cambridge) will start discussion.
