Sports Person of the Year 2026; Freya Moody!🏆
Freya has been an incredible captain of CUWLC this year, leading the Blues to the National Quarter-Final by scoring 60+ goals, as well as coaching both of the University teams.
At just 19, Freya earned her first senior cap and competed for GB against the Netherlands and Germany, and never misses a session whilst balancing a high-contact-hour Biological Natural Sciences degree.
Freya gives so much to everyone around her and is an inspiration to her fellow club members!🥳

Sports Awards 2026 - Newcomer of the Year Award Winner, Max Millstine!👋🏒
Having previously played at the highest level of youth Ice Hockey in the US, it was no surprise that when Max arrived in Cambridge he was an immediate standout across the UK University leagues.
Max’s performance is coupled with his desire to help the club off the ice, stepping in as Co-President next year and ensuring the wider club operations also run as smoothly as on the ice - we look forward to seeing what the future holds!

🏏 As part of a ground-breaking England tour, the Afghan Refugee Women’s cricket team will play two T20 matches on Saturday 27 June at Fenner’s in Cambridge, the historic University cricket ground... and you're invited too!
💥 Both matches are open to the public, free of charge, and light refreshments will be provided for the afternoon match.
