🎨 Ever heard of Sonia Delaunay?

She was a trailblazing artist known for her bold patterns and vibrant designs, she co-founded the Orphism movement and brought art into everyday life—think fashion, textiles, even cars!

She was also the first living female artist to have a retrospective at the Louvre. 💥

Her work still inspires young artists today, and we will be celebrating her work (as well as creating our own geometric masterpieces), this half term! Comment ART in the thread for a booking link.

Through experimenting with colour, shape, and imagination, children express their feelings, thoughts, and dreams in a way that can't always be communicated through words. That’s the true power of creativity.

Whoever thought of making art out of tins of soup?

Andy Warhol of course! One of the most famous Pop Artists in the world, Warhol was born in the USA in 1928 and is known for making art from everyday things like food, adverts, and celebrities. His bold, colourful style is so identifiable, but he also made films and worked with musicians like Lou Reed. Warhol’s art still inspires us today to find fun and beauty in the ordinary.
