We had a fantastic time hosting our company picnic earlier this week 🧺☀️

It was a warm summer afternoon, filled with great conversations and delicious food, and a chance to step away from our desks to connect in a more relaxed setting.

A sincere thank you to everyone who got involved in planning this event, as well as to our team members and their families for joining us.

Here are a few highlights from our afternoon in the sun! 📸👇🏼

The Met Office has issued a rare red warning for extreme heat covering parts of England and Wales this week, as temperatures are forecast to hit 40C in some areas ❗☀️🌡️

Working in extreme temperatures poses significant risks to health, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Although there is no legal maximum temperature for workplaces in the UK, employers must ensure safety during heatwaves and protect workers from heat risks.

Examples of what employers could do:
✅Improving ventilation, for example by providing fans or air conditioning
✅Providing access to cool drinking water
✅Adjusting working hours or patterns to avoid peak temperatures
✅Considering hybrid or remote working arrangements where possible
✅Relaxing dress codes
✅Allowing additional/flexible breaks
✅Reducing physically demanding tasks where possible
