Today, our Intensive Course students at Sir Christopher took part in a mock trial!

They all did brilliantly, taking on their roles with confidence and enthusiasm while putting their English and communication skills into practice.

Well done, everyone! 👏

And just like that, our Sir Edward 2026 summer camp has come to a close. ☀️

From lessons, activities and excursions to time spent together on campus, it’s been a busy summer filled with new experiences, new friendships and plenty of moments to remember.

Of course, 20 photos could never capture everything that happened at Sir Edward! We’ll be sharing more photos, highlights and moments from camp over the coming weeks, so there’s still plenty to see.

A big thank you to all of our students and staff for making this summer such a memorable one. It’s been a pleasure having you with us, and we hope you’re heading home with lots of stories to tell.

A few moments from Sir Christopher. We can’t believe it’s week 5 already - time flies when you’re having fun! 😊

Our students have really been making the most of everything Sir Christopher has to offer. These photos capture just a few of the activities and visits they’ve enjoyed, from painting and clay modelling to punting on the River Cam, playing tennis, visiting the Scott Polar Museum, taking a walking tour of London and exploring the British Museum and enjoying a traditional cream tea.

Each day has brought new opportunities to practise English, explore the local area and experience something different, with lessons, activities and excursions all combining to create a memorable summer in Cambridge ☀️

Today we’re saying goodbye to Tamás and his son, Balázs, from Hungary 🇭🇺

15 years ago, Tamás first came to study at Studio Cambridge. This summer, he returned with his son, Balázs, for four weeks.

Tamás joined our Adult Programme while Balázs took part in our Sir Michael Summer Camp. Even more special, they stayed with the very same host family who welcomed Tamás all those years ago. 🏡

Although Cambridge has changed a great deal since his first visit - especially Station Road, which he barely recognised - Tamás says Studio Cambridge has remained just as friendly and welcoming as he remembered. He chose to return because the school is “cool” and because he wanted to see his host family again, having kept in touch with them ever since his first stay.

Balázs particularly enjoyed the activities, especially the museum visits and table tennis, where he developed quite a talent. He’s also returning home feeling much more confident in his English. 🏓

Looking ahead, Tamás hopes Balázs will one day continue the tradition by bringing his own children to study at Studio Cambridge.
