LingSoc's first talk of Easter term is happening this Thursday, May 18th, at 4-5 pm in GR04 (EFB)! The speaker, Dr Julia Hofweber (UCL), will give a talk entitled "How bilinguals mix and match - the cognitive correlates of sequential versus simultaneous code-switching." The speaker, Dr Amanda Cole (Essex), will give a talk entitled "Examining the effect of community-level migration on linguistic production, language attitudes, indexicalities and (linguistic) identity: the case of the post-WWII dispersion of Cockneys to Essex."
