March was a busy and exciting month at Rosebuds Nursery as we welcomed the signs of spring. The children enjoyed more outdoor learning, exploring nature, planting seeds, and learning about flowers and how they grow.

We also explored ocean and sea creatures through fun activities, stories, and crafts, sparking curiosity and imagination. The children loved their music sessions with Little Wiggles and had great fun staying active with Football Fun Factory.

We celebrated World Book Day with both staff and children dressing up and sharing their favourite stories. It was also lovely to host our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea and Grandparents Day, where families joined us to create special memories.

A joyful month full of learning, laughter, and new experiences. 😀

We’re so excited to introduce our new outdoor learning space 🌿✨

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence, our outdoor area gives children the freedom to explore, discover, and learn through play in the fresh air. From hands-on activities to imaginative adventures, every corner has been created with their development in mind.

Whether they’re investigating nature, building, climbing, or simply enjoying time with friends, our children are already making the most of this wonderful new space 💚

We can’t wait to see all the learning and memories that will grow here 🌼

Last week, we enjoyed exploring colours and shapes! The children had a lovely time experimenting with colour mixing, creating their own coloured monsters, colour matching, making beautiful rainbows, and engaging in lots of messy painting and shape recognition. It was so heartwarming to see all the children so involved in learning about colours and shapes. ⬛️ 🔺️ 🔵

This week, our theme is Ocean & Sea Creatures 🌊.🐟 🦀 We’re looking forward to more learning and development as the children dive into this exciting topic! We'll explore different sea animals, their habitats, and the importance of our oceans. It’s going to be a wonderful week filled with new discoveries!

What a fantastic summer it has been at Rosebuds! It has been a joy to observe the children engaging in various activities and having fun. We held a delightful graduation party for our school leavers, welcomed new staff as part of our expansion, and enjoyed an exciting week of our musical festival ‘Kidchella’. The children experienced numerous nature walks, messy play sessions, team-building activities, garden play, baking, and new food tastings, thanks to our talented nursery chef. As we look forward to the upcoming term, we have many celebrations planned. We are particularly excited about the introduction of forest school, which will utilise our new nature learning space in the woods. All of our rooms will benefit from this enriching experience, providing lots of opportunities for exploration and learning in nature.

Thank you to our wonderful rosebuds children, families and fabulous dedicated staff for a wonderful and memorable summer!
