We were pleased to receive a visit from our local MP, Ian Sollom, last Friday. The governing body had written to him to express their concerns around funding for schools in Cambridgeshire, and the challenges that presents, particularly for us a small school.

Ian agreed to come in and meet with myself and some Governors to find out more about our school and to listen to our concerns.

With the children always being the heart of everything we do, the visit started with 2 children giving him a tour of the school. And it ended with some Y5/6's sharing our school values and asking him questions about his job. He was really impressed with the children and enjoyed their presentation and questions.

We were pleased to be able to share our amazing school with him and hope he took on board some of the funding challenges schools in Cambridgeshire face.
