RCCG City Of David Cambridge

RCCG City Of David Cambridge Welcome to the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David parish in Cambridge England.

Our vision is to build a Church where friendship, trust, and loyalty are valued. Our passion is to be a healthy family of individuals who experience the love of God together, and then express this love one to another, and to a spiritually disconnected and often emotionally hurting generation of seekers, who are yet to come into friendship with God. Our goal is to help all people move towards wholeness in Christ (spiritually, emotionally, relationally, physically and financially) and accordingly provide many helpful ways for people to grow in authentic devotion to Christ. Our desire is to build a church where friendship, trust, and loyalty are valued. We recognise how difficult it is to make and keep real friends, therefore, we’re committed to building a church where relationships are highly valued and small groups of people learning to be friends are encouraged to cultivate these relationships through regular fellowship. We are also committed to communicating and teaching timeless and relevant truths of the wisdom of God and the new life in Christ through contemporary, creative, and culturally relevant means attractive to a post-modern generation of seekers. Lastly, we recognise the reality that most people come to and mature in Christ over time. Therefore, we respect and encourage this growth process by demonstrating understanding and extending grace to everyone.

One weekend. One message: NOT ASHAMED. 🙌

From Saturday’s ECHAD Night of Worship to today’s RGEN Youth Takeover Service, our focus at RCCG City of David Cambridge has been on Jesus and the hope of the gospel.

‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ…’
- Romans 1:16

Thank you to our young people and everyone who served, worshipped and joined us this weekend. 💚

As we head into a new week, let’s take our faith beyond the church walls into our conversations, our choices and the way we care for others. Following Jesus is something to live out, not hide away.

We had plenty to thank God for at COD Cambridge today. 💚

It was a joy to welcome Pastor Kunle Omotosho, who preached at our Sunday service. Thank you, Pastor Kunle, for joining us and for sharing God’s Word with our church family.

Congratulations to the four people who received their Workers-in-Training certificates today! We celebrate your commitment to learning and service, and pray that God continues to equip and guide you as you serve Him. 👏🏽

We also celebrated our Youth Pastor, Pastor Amos Akinwale, with a birthday cake and an opportunity to thank God for his life. Pastor Amos, we appreciate your care for our young people and your service to the church. May God bless you with wisdom, strength and joy in the year ahead. 🎂

Thank you to everyone who joined us today. Here are a few moments from a Sunday spent worshipping Jesus, learning together, and celebrating one another.

Leave a message below to congratulate our certificate recipients or to wish Pastor Amos a happy birthday!
