Now, he works as a Business Development Manager at Reed in Partnership and recently fulfilled a lifelong goal of returning to Channel 4’s Countdown - as well as being crowned Series 92 Champion! 🎉

It's brilliant to be back in schools after the summer break and meeting students joining our Future Leaders programme!

📸 Meet our newest Villiers Park Future Leaders! ✨

We're proud to introduce the latest group of North Gosforth Academy students beginning their journey with the Villiers Park Future Leaders Programme.

Over the next three years, they will take part in one-to-one coaching, leadership projects, university visits, employer insight days and a range of experiences designed to help them build confidence, resilience and the skills needed to achieve their ambitions. The programme empowers young people to take control of their future, overcome barriers and make informed decisions about their next steps.

Through these opportunities, students will develop motivation, curiosity and self-belief, while learning how to create a positive impact within their school and wider community. The programme is designed to help young people realise their potential, broaden their horizons and make confident choices about education, careers and life beyond school.

We are excited to see what this talented group achieves as they begin their journey of leadership, opportunity and Creating Futures.

Students in Bedford have completed the AVEVA Challenge, developing digital solutions to local sustainability issues while building confidence, teamwork and future-ready skills.

As Year 12 student Aarav said, it was “particularly rewarding to see how creative problem-solving and technology could be combined to encourage positive behavioural change.”

A huge thank you to AVEVA for inspiring the next generation of tech talent, and to Kimberley Sixth Form College for supporting students throughout the programme.

We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Beard, supporting young people from under-represented backgrounds across Swindon and Wiltshire.

Throughout the year, Beard colleagues will work directly with students on our Future Leaders Programme, sharing industry insight, supporting Leadership Challenge projects, and helping young people build confidence, employability skills and awareness of future career and apprenticeship routes.

Welcome to the team Anjlee and Rosie!

Anjlee has experience in educational settings working with diverse groups of young people. Having attained a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Developmental Science, Anjlee brings a strong understanding to supporting young people their skills development.

Rosie is an alum of the Villiers Park programme, having participated whilst in secondary school. After graduating with a BA (Hons) Education Studies, Rosie brings her first-hand experience of the difference the support and opportunities provided can make to our Future Leaders.

From graphic design and book clubs to sports tournaments, revision sessions and projects tackling important issues, our Norwich Future Leaders used their passions and creativity to make a difference in their school communities.

Their Leadership Challenge projects helped them to develop new skills while creating opportunities for others along the way.

After completing her degree in English Language and Literature, Eryn joined Villiers Park as a Funding and Communications Intern through our continued partnership with University of Oxford Careers Service Crankstart Programme

As she comes to the end of her internship, she leaves with new skills, valuable insight into the charity sector, and a deeper understanding of outreach and social mobility.

"This internship has been a great learning opportunity and it has been a pleasure to work in such a supportive team."

One of Eryn's most memorable moments was seeing the impact of our work first-hand at the University of Bath Year Residential: "I saw in real time a student realising that higher education, and social mobility, is possible for them."

Outside of work, Eryn enjoys getting lost in a good book, swimming in the sea, and baking sweet treats.
