CU Heartstart

We had such an awesome time at Restart A Heart Day 2021 ❤❤❤ This is a really important day where we aim to teach as many people basic life support as possible, and therefore make our community safer

We took to the streets of Cambridge and were able to teach 452 members of our community life-saving skills!!! 100% of people who filled out our feedback form said that they would recommend our teaching 🥳

It was truly lovely to meet so many people and see everyone's enthusiasm to learn. We hope that everyone had as good a time as we did. Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming events throughout the year 👀

All members, whether trained already or not, must attend an instructor training course before they can help out teaching at events this year. We've tried to condense the whole session into a two-hour intensive course, where we will review the content, go over how to teach it effectively, and give everyone a chance to do a bit of teaching themselves. This year, we've made the groups a lot smaller and changed the programme to make it a bit more interactive. After this, you can sign up to teach as many or as few events as you'd like!

There are currently six training sessions you can sign up to, but we will add more as we organise them - please put your name and CRSID/email down on this document under the one you'd like to attend (dates and times on the spreadsheet): https://goo.gl/UMH7Gb
If you'd rather not put your name down or if you can't make any sessions, feel free to get in touch with me on [email protected].
